- Welcome to the first in our "Throwback Thursday" Wig Series! We chose "Sky" by Noriko as our first style to hightlight as it has been a best seller for over a decade! It is a whispy voluminous style with soft feathery layers that comes in over 45 colors!
It features an all machine-made cap and weighs in at 2.79 ounces. The fringe is 5.5 inches and the nape is 3.5 inches. It works on almost every head shape and size!

Thank you. This was enormously helpful. I like Sky a lot but I don't like any of the Noriko grays. They don't have one that's salt & pepper for moderately dark brown hair. (If the brown in Sandy Silver were a few shades darker, it would work for me.) I think I just need to give the brand a miss for now.

Talk about rooted colors please. I bought a sky large. Not exactly like I wanted. I wanted the sky.
Love my older Noriko Sky in Sandy Silver but the latest ones I've purchased have much less density and not as much permatease and are not as nice.
I have an old plain Sky but the permatease in part does not look real. Any improvements in them now without going to mo o top
We find that the colors that have a darker root do not accentuate the permatease as much. But without going to the partial mono then no, they are pretty much the same. Another tip is to keep it nice and brushed with the hairs separated so that the part is disrupted.
You two both look great in Sky. Now I’m really excited! I bought Sky on eBay and I am supposed to get it Monday. I can’t wait now. Did you guys style it, fluff it up, or was it right out of the box with just finger styling? Very pretty.

I love your channel! I am a new subsciber. You both make the wigs you wear look so realistic and great! I am curious, the Sky wigs you are wearing- did you alter at all? Steam or heat? Is the part the same as out of the box? I had one Sky, and it didn't look this good!

I just bought this wig because of this video! I bought it in dark chocolate - beautiful color! Problem is: it really looks nothing like what you two are wearing. It’s longer, flatter, and just looks kind of weird. I don’t know if it’s my weird head shape or a fluke, but it doesn’t have the body and bounce that yours had. I’m not sure what to do with it. I did use Piece Out, hair spray, etc, but it didn’t really help. Any suggestions?
Try just shaking it out from base, then just piece it with your fingers! The less you do, the more natural? I've seen videos with "this" wig many times, and that seems to work best!
I'm really in love with this style. I love that it has a feathery top without a whole lot of bangs. How is the Noriko on cap size for the 23" circumference? Is that considered a large, or would that be an average with the adjusting strap moved a bit?
Amy Pope 23 is kinda borderline. I, this is Kim, have a 22 1/2 inch circumference and find the Noriko wigs kinda tight. I cut the bands out that you can loosen or tighten the wig with toe get more stretch out of it. However, go easy. Cut one first see how it is fitting and then the other one, if you need to.
