Yay! I missed the tent! This one is really cool!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Brian, did you know the man who bought your truck cab from Nebraska, Crazy Quady. He suffered a heart attack a few days ago. He survived, but it really slowed him down for now. Please keep him and his family in your prayers…
I did know. Sad to hear what happened to Mike.
I did know. Sad to hear what happened to Mike.
And so it begins again 😂
lol. Yes. Again. But….out of all of them, this is the most comfortable. Just gotta figure out my awning situation
Heyy Brian nice setup, looking forward to seeing you out camping and yes you don't have to sleep in the truck no more lol, thanks stay safe 😊
Thanks Sonia!
Very cool man!!!!
😎👍🏻👍🏻
🔥🔥🔥👍🏻
Brian, great video always. Your weight loss is an inspiration. Would like you to spend some time letting us know how you did it.
Thank you Scott👍🏻 I’m thinking about doing a short video on the weight loss thing…funny thing is that I’m just not that comfortable talking about myself like that. Feels weird😂😂👍🏻
That has got to be the best truck tent set up I've seen. The size is great for two adults.
Thanks👍🏻👍🏻
I like it. Should work well for ya since it’s so light weight.
👍🏻👍🏻
A/C definitely needed! I look forward to your next rooftop tent camping trip. Stay cool! Stay Hydrated when you go!
Thanks!
That tent is really Slick! 🎉 Can't wait for the first campout in it!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great video
Thanks👍🏻
Sweet tent setup. Can’t wait to see the camping video!
Thanks👍🏻👍🏻
I am going to have to check this camper out! Thanks for sharing.
👍🏻👍🏻
That looks awesome. Looking fwd to your camp trips with it. Thanks for taking us along.
👍🏻👍🏻
Welcome back Brian!! 😅 Nice looking outfit! Can’t wait to see it in action.
Thanks bud👍🏻
Nice looking tent, glad to see you back truck camping!
Thanks👍🏻👍🏻
Cool beans. Summer is around the corner. Make sure you have all your plugs and hoses for your AC. You are going to need them. Stay safe.
Yes!🔥👍🏻👍🏻
You did very good shopping looks great
Thanks!
Some tents are growers and some are showers. That small package turned into something fairly big. LOL. Very nice setup. Looking forward to seeing how your first outing goes with it
lol. For sure it’s a grower😂
Hey Brian! Good to see you on again. I really like that tent better than the other one. Looks like it's got a ton of room and plenty of places to put things. You can't call it quits cause you know you will want to get away from everything every now and then and that tent is just what you need. I bet the wife is wondering if you will ever get settled in with a tent 😂. Hey stay cool out there, you know how this Texas heat is 🔥 🔥!
Thanks Scooter👍🏻
Looks great!
Thanks!
Awesome tent! We knew you’d built it out
lol👍🏻 sounds like we might get to meet up again soon in the Ozarks!
@@BrianWatersOutdoors That’s the plan! We love the Ozarks!
Yassssssss
👍🏻
I got a Yakima overhaul hd rack. Yakima racks are build to suit and build to vehicle. They don’t have a complete system to buy straight up. They are totally customizable to what you want, need and have.
👍🏻👍🏻
Nice setup Brian, was really hoping you were going to keep doing the roof top or camper shell camping, mixed with the RV and family camping, and you did.
👍🏻👍🏻
Good to hear. Looking forward to the next video. I don't know how you deal with the heat. I don't like how hot it gets in michigan, and it's nothing compared to texas.
I do t know how we do it either….
A pop up trip calls for a pop up tent ⛺️. I used to carry a book call The NeXT Exit. It gave me the length of the interstate by mile marker, and what was available at each exit I guess they have an app for this now days.
👍🏻👍🏻
cool tent it would be better used in early fall and winter, summer time I don't think it would be much use, if it were me I would use a hammock or something else especially in this stupid HOT Texas HEAT!! where I am it was 102*F yesterday!
👍🏻👍🏻
From South Africa
Clocked in at number 101....
Pish pash 100 F ?.a warm 35 deg C Welcome to my world 😅 it's blooming freezing 🥶 in Johannesburg... 12 deg C ......😅
😂👍🏻👍🏻
very cool setup and tent. question for you. where you get in off the ladder, is that overhang section sturdy and rigid?
That was my concern too but there are straps that “hold up” the extension and the ladders also used as a support for the folded out section. Very sturdy once everything is setup.
I just got my bivy today, really excited to mount and use buuuuut I can’t find the darn keys and the latches are locked lmao 😂
Any idea where the keys are? Was yours locked? Shipping box was a bit beat up I’m hoping they’re smart enough not to ship loose keys. I can always unscrew the latches to get inside, hopefully keys are in there?
That sucks! My keys were zip tied to the latch
Hi Brian, I really enjoy your video's... Why did you get rid of your topoak? I was looking forward to buying this upcoming week for fathers day. I am having second thoughts now... was it not worth it or to heavy. I really would like your true review... Thank you
The TopOak is a great tent for the price, and I still recommend it. I just wanted to try something different with the side opening and wanted something a little lighter since I take the tent on/off pretty frequently.
Time to buy a Scout Truck camper or Northern Lite truck camper or Four Wheel truck camper.
👍🏻
We are in West Texas. Im curious......at what temp (approx) would you say it gets TO hot for the roof top tent camping if your not using the AC? Im looking forward to seeing the next video with the hot temps and a rooftop tent AC.Congrats on the new tent too....I like that the doors and screens zip to the top. They can be rolled up and put out of the way im guessing. Question....did you ever consider using the side canopy and adding a room to one of those instead of a rooftop tent option?
For me, without a/c I’m not going out when it’s 80° and above at night. Here in Texas when it’s 80 plus the humidity makes for a sticky, miserable “sleep”
Curious what other small footprint tents you found. I've got a 5.5ft bed f150 and am trying to find options that fit the bed size so I don't have to mount above the cab... If anyone else has recommendations that the bill please comment.
👍🏻👍🏻
👍🏻
Brian, I have a question for you, I purchased the same bug deflector as you have on your new truck but for my F150 but it doesn’t fit the best. There are several spaces that don’t fit with contour of the hood. This is the one that is for my year and model.Any ideas?
I’m not sure? I’ve had one of these on every truck I’ve owned and they fit perfect on the hood contours. Maybe they sent the wrong model??
👍Nice looking tent. Does it have a rainfly to cover the overhang/entry area around the ladder? Are the Yakima crossbar attachment points lockable, to prevent someone easily removing the tent?
Gotta quit watching your channel. Everytime I see your F250 I get the urge to trade my '18 SuperCrew. The bed on yours 6', or 5'5"?
The bars do have a lock I can use👍🏻 also, the bed on this F250 is 6’10””
👍@@BrianWatersOutdoors
Hard to keep up with all of your camping setups…😂
I know….😂
I would have won money if i placed the will. Brian go back to truck/tent camping...lol
😂😂👍🏻
