@@ShootfishProductions hey mate just wondering if its ok if my gun temporarily pushed out CO2 from where the magazine sits .it pushed out CO2 for about a second and a bit while I was firing than it was fine and I finished the mag by shooting the rest of the pellets.should I be concerned?
I bought a Gamo PT-85 on September 8th and after only two months of using it started to leak a bit the moment I tighten the CO2 cartridge and after a while no leaking. Anyway I was looking for a solution to avoid any little leaking and I found your video. I've put the teflon tape as you showed up in the video and no more leaking the moment I tighten the cartridge! We had to imagine a CO2 gun as an hydraulic plant or a methane gas plant, so to add a seal in more can help to block all the leaks. I got inspired thank to you guys! A big thank for doing and posting this helpful video! ☺
I also saw someone used a screw driver a touch to relocate due to the cartridge spinning and creates a bigger puncture so I put Vaseline on top and shot a few times with bb’s then ran out and dried fired then released the cartridge it was still cold and had gas still but I should get more out of it then a few loads so I’ll keep trying with this method thanks for the tip
i know its a stupid question but can i use this tactic to prevent possible co2 leaks? or will it damage to gun in a long term? thanks for the video that is really useful
Not a stupid question. Yes, no problem to use if your gun is not yet leaking, could help to prevent long term loss of gas. Unlikely to do any damage. Thanks for watching.
I don't understand why you don't just change the CO2 bulb seal directly? It costs 2 pounds less than that Teflon, and there's not as much bullshit! You're making videos just to stay busy! LMFAO
Just tried it on my Colt Peacemaker. Only took a couple of tries to get it sorted. You are life savers.
Glad it helped👍

@@Ghost-xn9wg no dont worry, especially with a new co2 capsule. A sticky pellet could cause it, nothing to worry about.
Subscribed ,it's working fine after that ,thank U your correct
@@ShootfishProductions i have the kwc/sig we the people .177 1911 and all the c02 shoots out the top if the mag. can you help me

Thank You!!! You saved me from pitching this gun in the trash!!
I used this fix on a failed O ring on the gas release valve on my Snowpeak HDR. Works perfectly now. Happy Days !
Good view of guns and things for a change, super video and explanation 🎸
Sheesh i've been looking for this quick fix for a long time now, i'm very glad I found this.. Save a lot of c02 cartridge. Thanks
I’m going to try this on my colt umerex colt defender

You can make little CO2ndoms.
Does ducktape work too?
Probably, but youll end up with sticky mess inside your gun.
Why not just replace the magazine
Cost and availability.

The ptfe costs 75p, and not everyone has the ability to change seals. Your comments confirm your ignorance.
