Love your simple and elegant silkscreen and texture mat designs, Helen! And your ideas for amping up the effects are wonderful. Thanks sooo much for sharing your talents with the world!
I have just started silk screening with a couple of your designs. The results were so exciting, but I can hardly wait to jazz the next ones up. Thank you so much for your ideas and examples.
So glad you tried silkscreening and are having success. Yes I still get a thrill each time I lift up the silkscreen and see the results. Have fun with the video ideas!
Thanks for this video ! I'm discovering your channel and I'm happy to see your videos because I bought one of your texture sheet recently and I'm very interesting in now ! :)
Omg! Never seen more beautiful clay jewelry then yours!!!! I am a beginner who is so inspired by you. Thank you so much. One question, how do you attach the buttons? Liquid clay? Thanks again
Thanks so much for your kind words Sushila! Much appreciated. If I am attaching clay on clay I will use liquid clay. Attaching things made of metal, etc. I use Kwik Weld, a 2-part epoxy.
Hi Zhanna, So glad you enjoying my textures and I hope you'll give my silkscreens a try. If you are referring to the tool I am using to apply the Pan Pastels, I'm not sure where you live but if you are in the U.S. here's a link: www.dickblick.com/products/panpastel-sofft-tools/ Cheers! Helen.
Could you please tell us what size buttons you use -on average- for your focal points. I know that the size depends on the piece, but for your pendnats in your Shapes book, for example, could you tell us the average size of the buttons please? I would really appreciate knowing. Thank you. I have bought your book and several tutorials and thought to ask you here. Thank you in advance
I just love your designs and keep drooling over them. I know a local stockists who stocks your silk screens and other designs but how do i get your tutorials pls.
Hi Louise Helen is away for the week, but you can access her tutorials and ebooks from her website, helenbreil.com. They are not sold through other retailers. There are also links to her video classes and free videos.
Rose I usually buy end caps from beading stores and glue them in. I use to use superglue gel but more recently have been using a 2-part epoxy for extra security.
