Looks like it traps/carries a good bit of material at the front. Saw this in the video both with the scarifiers down in box mode and scarifiers up in plane mode.
That hydraulic top link makes the transition from Box Blade to Smooth Grading so easy. With the hydraulic top link setup, another auxiliary hydraulic port is required for the Box to Scraper feature you mentioned?
Hello Brian! To use a hydraulic top link and hydraulic cylinder on the BoxPlane, you would need to add a hydraulic multiplier to allow for more remotes.
Hello! As long as those tractor models come with a category 1- 3pt hitch, they should be compatible. However, you may want to double check specifications with the tractor manufacturer.
The TX25 is a nice tractor and offers a lot of features but it's size and HP will substantially limit what it can do. It has a hydraulic flow of only 4.8gpm and the loader limit is just 1100 lbs and rear lift is 1160 lbs at 24". It should be fine for around 5 or so acres. I'm sure Summit will be making tractors in the 35hp to 50hp range which better fits most peoples needs. 20 thousand for a small tractor that's limited by it's size and HP would not be on my list. I own a 70HP New Holland and 50HP John Deere....
These 25hp compact tractors sell like hotcakes and are immensely useful for a lot of people. If it were not so, there wouldn't be a dozen manufacturers with multiple models.
@albsure999 It would be great for light work. It's safe to say you will not be unloading thousand pound round bales of hay, moving heavy logs and so on. A 50hp tractor would be a ideal all around tractor.
I like my Gannon 6 way all hydraulic scraper box, if I want material to escape I can just adjust box front up and the rear blade acts as a gauge. Rippers are hydraulic also. I don’t see any advantage with this box.
NEVER STAND UNDER AN ATTACHMENT OR IMPLEMENT!!!!!! I didn't see an informational sales video, I saw a major safety issue that kills or drastically hurts operators every day.
#1 - Safety. Don't work with your feet or any other body part under a raised implement or attachment unless you have something under it to prevent it from falling. I cringed watching this guy sticking his feet under the blade. #2 - I don't understand why the 3-point implements for today's small tractors are built with such lightweight material. I have 70-year old plows and angle blades around here that came with Ford 9N's and 8N's that would still function just fine if they were called into duty. I doubt if this Boxplane will be able to make that claim.
That guy needs some lessons on material moisture and compaction, he is just making a dusty mess for that driveway. Also he is segregating his material without proper moisture. Notice he is always working on nearly flat conditions. I have been a licensed general engineering contractor for over 40 years.
Good Works Tractor has some good videos using the Summit with several attachments! Learning a lot!!
Great demo, love the attachment!

Summit has some real smart engineers!
I keep looking at that deer blind in the background!! LOL
Built my land plane with a hydraulic end gate back in 2018. Really good at limiting the amount of material coming out the back.

@@summittractors Can that be ordered with the tractor?
@@tclodfelter8789 The BoxPlane can be purchased with the tractor, but we do not yet have a hydraulic cylinder available.
Love it.
Would you take this over having a box blade and plane independently?

Very nice! Did the TX25 handle the 60"...in your opinion?...or do you think the 48" would be better? Thx for the vid.
The 60" in the recommended size for the TX25H!
Neat tool!
What is your basic unit cost?
What brand and model drone are you using for this video?
would the 48" work behind an X758 /748/595?

Never heard of Summit tractors?

@@summittractors Very nice, looking for one twice that size.
@@inspectr1949 Stay tuned! We will be sharing details about our 36HP tractor this fall.
@@summittractors Still too small unless the loader has a minimum of a 2000# lifting capacity and a minimum of a 30 HP PTO.
@@summittractors Any specs on that!?? I've been waiting for it to come out! Will it also be fully loaded right out of the box...ready to work?
