Hi Ruksana, hope you and family are well. Have you heard about the changes to spouse visa UK next spring? Apparently the minimum income requirement for a spouse or family visa will be raised from £18,600 to £38,700. Luckily it's not gonna affect my wife because we will be applying in January for her ILR but for all the other people out there they will be devastated.
Hi, yes I heard about it and was completely surprised at the large increase. I know a lot of people were struggling to meet the £18,600 requirement let alone having to meet almost £40k income. Apparently the have reduced it now to £29,000 and then it will go up to £34,500 later this year so still not great. The good news for those who already started the process on £18,600 will still stay on that threshold so even if you were applying after the changes, it would not have affected your application. I really feel for anyone who is planning on marrying back home these days.
@user-hw1rn2yn8i you won't need any card. When you travel let's say and you come back into the cou try all you will do is give immigration your name or fingerprint and it will come up in the system.
Salam hun, hope you and family are well. Thank you so much for all the info. I have a question, Is it the same application whether you are on a 5 or 10 yr route? Thank you. Also I followed your video for the extended visa, was that a 5 or 10 yr route? Thank you x
Wasalam, apologies for the late reply. My husband was on the 5 year route therefore I am not too confident when it comes to the 10 year route but there is a separate link for those on the 10 year route so I think it is a slightly different application. However I feel like there will be a lot of similar questions so you may still find these videos helpful.
Thank you so much, apologies for the late reply however I am not too confident with the 10 year route as my husband was on the 5 year route but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to pay for super priority.
Hi, apologies for the late reply. You probably have the answer already but if you aren't showing any income at all, you will need cash savings of £65,000. However, this may change under the new financial requirements as the income threshold is increasing. Please look into this further to make sure.
Hi Ruksana, i hope you are well. I just wanted to ask i have applied for my husband for an extention visa in september its been a few months now and they have asked for documents such as mine and my husbands passport and the part one consent form again. Im just really worried why they would ask for documents again if ive sent it. I would like to know did this happen to you is it something that is normal that they do asking for documents again ?
Hi, apologies for the late reply. You probably don't need me to answer your question anymore but it was something that we were asked to do again (both our passports). It was just that we had uploaded one side of the page at a time rather than 2 pages together like a book. I can imagine they would ask for it to be re uploaded if some of the pages were blurry, unreadable etc. as the passport and the declarations are part of the mandatory documents so need to be very clear.
Hi, yes there are a lot of the same questions. Do you mean your answered are now different this time round? You would just put down what is correct for you right now.
Hi, you can follow the same online application link in my description box but instead of clicking on the link for the 5 year route, you must chose the link for the 10 year route. All the answers/requirement should be more or less the same.
Hi, just want to know where I should know. That I have complete my wife five years visa My wife, she come UK 2019. I Already refresh 2.06 , so my question is, how do you find out when i have to apply? For ILR Is her BRB card Expire december 2024 like everyone
Hi, you can apply for ILR when it has been 5 years since entering the UK of within 28 days of the BRP card expiry date (which is technically 3 months after 5 years).
@@RuksanaAhmed thank you for replying and she have BRP card but expepired december 2024 but visa to complet 5 years it is in December 2025 I confusing with expiry but that BRP diffrent and visa so it is two diffrent issue isn t ?
Oh that’s very strange, that is a full years difference. Surely that can’t be right. Please speak to a solicitor about this as I’m unsure how that’s happened and if your visa will still be valid passed that date.

Salaam sister, thank you again for the advise, wish you and your family the best.
Aww thank you so much!! 🥰
When did u apply for the ILR as the brp card has a different end date to the letter that sent with brp card
They are phasing out brp by the end of 2024. After that it will all be electronic. That's why brp date is different.
@@joyent7643 how will we get the electronic card

@joyent7643 I'm not sure when I need to apply for ILR as bpr runs out December 2024 but am granted stay Feb 2025
You can apply as soon as your spouse has been in the country for 5 years total.I usually recommend within 28 days of the expiry date to be sure
