This is definitely great moves to start off after the 'noobie stage' lol But if its for pure beginners, don't forget the T-Step. It is the move that coined the phrase 'The Shuffle' and of course the most important. It also helps in balance and creating a more sharper look to your shuffling, giving the illusion of you gliding around the floor =D

And so I have finally reached here. Your most famous video, by far. I've known that it was here for a long time, but, ofc, you have so many other videos to look at too. So, finally time to see why people flocked to watch this like they were going to see the latest blockbuster movie.
Love how right at the start that you told people to warm up, so in a way, it was like a 1 year in advance preview for the 30 day workout series :P Really liked how you speeded the footage up a little too, it worked so well.
Enjoyed seeing how you just kinda glided along the floor when you were showing the running man. For such a tall girl you are always so incredibly light on your feet, it's as if you are a fairy in disguise.
And straight away we see why you are so different as both a dancer and a teacher than anyone else, you smile, you have fun, instead of treating the dance and lesson as if it is a matter of life and death. Loved the trademark tongue out too :P You make the 180 degree change look so, so easy, even though it's actually quite difficult to shift the body through such an angle with so little momentum. I can do it in a different move that I believe I invented, but, I'm carrying a hell of a lot more momentum when I do my continuous 180s than the momentum you are carrying here.
@ 2.07 that is just absolutely staggering, truly !! those spins almost defy physics and you even changed at the end to spin on the opposite foot. I was always told that I dance great, but when I watch you I always wonder what the people who watched me would have thought if they had watched you !! You take my breath away with what you can do. I have never seen anyone with more technical ability, than you, and yes, I REALLY do mean anyone !!
That moonwalk explanation was stunning. Both parts of it, telling to move from heel to toe and keep the weight in front for help to achieve that too. The few times I tried to do it, at home, I never managed it, because I always tried sliding from the middle of my foot. Watching this, I now know why exactly why I always failed. TYSM big hug.
Even though you showed other variations of it, they looked kinda weird and jerky. The classical, smooth walk is the best (imo).
Those slides, oh lord, those are incredibly, incredibly difficult. But you do them with such ease as if they were the first steps you ever took as a baby. To hit that precise angle, give or take a few degrees, time after time, to do a circle, as a dancer to a dancer, I really, really, take my hat off to you.
Regarding transitions, would you agree that a person should do whatever feels comfortable for them (and looks good) or should they aim for specific transitions ? I've always just gone with my own flow and transitioned spontaneously unless I needed to hit a specific power level for a move or a specific speed level for a move.
Made me smile to see you call the backwards running man "Inverse Running Man" here but "Reverse Running Man" in other videos (they do mean the same thing though). Again, you make the ridiculously hard, look absolutely sublime. Kicking the leg out like that isn't a natural step, in fact, it's one that most people will never attempt in their entire life because whether running or walking, the inclination is to always kick the foot backwards instead in order to generate forward momentum. You also have very long legs, which makes it even harder to do and look good, but hell, the height and reach you were getting on those forward kicks, I'm speechless !!
I wish you could have seen the smile on my face Ana when you said "let's try smth else" and you just launched into the favourite footwork that I love to see you do. Breathtaking !! Absolutely breathtaking !! The close quarters co-ordination, the rhythm, the concentration, the balance, the technique, the speed. I have no words. Saying any would spoil the brilliance of what my eyes see.
Actually, even though I have no words, I do have a question, a question that I don't believe anyone has ever asked you. "What is your signature move" ? Which one move would you say most defines you as a dancer ? (If I was asked "Since you have watched more videos of Ana than anyone else, which one move would you say most defines her ?", I would say it is either that footwork or your unique pirouette, but, since I could only pick one, I would have to pick the footwork. Performing it shows so many of your dancing attributes, so many of the things that make you, 'the best', and anyone else, 'the rest'. And to top off your initial demonstration, you even put your tongue out too, so we not only get your (imo) signature move, we also get your trademark too :P. Talk about a cake with multiple layers of icing, sprinkles and cherries on top. And what an absolutely perfect way to end this video other than saying goodbye and doing that footwork to disappear out of view.
Loved, absolutely, ABSOLUTELY, ABSOLUTELY !!!! every single second of this video. (I had an absolutely terrible day yesterday, and today I worked till even I felt tired (and given that many people have said I have a reactor instead of a heart, me feeling tired is a rarity) but, watching this made my spirit and my tired body, smile so, so much.
You don't just dance, or teach, or act etc, you lift us (your subscribers) up too. Hugs.

I downloaded and watched in slow-mo. The standing foot jumps back with the toes pointed down to slide on the floor a tiny bit before the raised foot drops. That is the only way it can move back since your weight is on it while the other foot is raised. So a little jump with the toes pointed down while the front foot comes down and then a slide back.
