Hadn’t heard of Matt until he was on Rogan, it’s no wonder those two are friends. Just a genuine human being, humble in all of his success. Like it would be so easy for him to show that vintage Speedmaster and tell us all that it’s a high value original but he can’t lol it’s not in his nature, he immediately clarifies that it has a service movement but he loves it when it’s on his wrist. So glad that you connected with this guy Andrew.
Matt and Camron Weiss got me into watches four years ago when they hosted the Watch and listen podcast. Now I am a total watch *Geek* and this has brought me much joy ! Thanks Matt & Camron
I am still sad that the Watch and Listen Podcast ended. I listened to them and somehow Matt made me a watch lover. Thanks for the memories of that show. Thanks, Matt!
As a fan of both motoring and horoogy, it is a very exciting thing to see the two collide in this video. Cant thank you guys enough for this vid! Next up, Clarkson/May/Hammod please
Turns out I'm one in a million. Thanks for letting me know. That made my day! Congrats to you folks also for the achievement. Really enjoyed the video as well. Matt has a great passion for watches and it really shone through in this interview.
Watching that Matt Farah/Joe Rogan watch collecting video is what sparked my interest in watches and particularly in Grand Seiko spring drive. Before that I used to always say - I can just check my phone if I want to know the time.
Very nice. Felt a bit odd for me to watch a Watchfinder video where Andrew and Tom didn't do much talking. I'm glad Mr. Farah is helping spread the Grand Seiko gospel. I didn't know who he was until I watched this video.
wow this guy is a straight-up seiko modder, love that he has both Rolex pieces and seiko ones. Would love to see a close-up photo of that 'tahitian pearl dial' seiko mod that he made
I'm pretty tired of people claiming they're "self-made" when they're born into wealthy families. For real, they need to stop claiming they hit a home run when they were born on third base.
I still listen to Matt farrahs watch podcasts, a lot of info I couldn't understand at that time, so a 2nd listen was super entertaining and informative. That ah ha moments. Thanks for having Matt! You should get Joe Rogan on your vlog too.
My wife bought me a Kermit for our second anniversary 13 years ago as a surprise. She had no idea other than, "it has a pretty color." I didn't realize it was special until later. I love that watch to this day.
So cool to see two of my favourite content creators do a crossover. That rogan podcast was a big part(all though not exclusively) what got me interested in watches.
What a great guy he is and so down to earth which is refreshing to see. So many put on fake personas in todays social media driven world. So many men that fit into that big strong man image will also hide there softer side such as loving cats and being kind to them. I am part of the big strong guy group from my appearance and most people when getting to know me ask what sort of dog I have yet I am a cat lover and I don't hide that fact.
I met Matt last year when he was in my town for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. We talked watches for a minute. He was wearing a sweet carbon fiber Panerai.
I would love to see a discussion with Cameron Weiss on this channel. His knowledge and experience would make for an interesting conversation and he’s putting out some really nice watches these days. Cheers!
Awesome video thanks! Had me researching Nobus but sadly they are made in China… i wish they were not and i would definitely try to get one. Great designs tho
I love my Grand Seiko, but you had better be prepared to see it’s value plummet as soon as you leave the AD. Don’t get me wrong. They are absolutely beautiful and probably truly worth twice their price, at least compared to the big prestige brands.
I'm not a fan of Joe Rogan, for he largely built his channel on baseless conspiracy theories and prior fame. Matt, on the other hand, is a respectable, knowledgeable wristwatch collector. And as much money as he has, it's nice to know he appreciates affordable watches.
Thanks for having me guys! This was a fun time!
Was fun hearing watch talk from you, Nice features on the Nodus, Job well done!
I loved the Rogan episode. It wasn't THE thing that turned me onto watches, but it was a positive influence.
Thank you for joining us!
haha you only hearted the big youtuber hahaha
@@watchfinderI didn't even notice you were there in the presence of motormouth.
The "collab" nobody expected but makes so much sense. Thank you guys!
I loved how he started from a proper Rolex but still gone through the seiko Mod phase. That’s a proper watch guy right there.

Kindness and being interactive with animals is an excellent trait for a watch collector. Good content
Those are good traits in general, but okay.
How on earth are those traits linked 😂
Matt and Camron Weiss got me into watches four years ago when they hosted the Watch and listen podcast. Now I am a total watch *Geek* and this has brought me much joy ! Thanks Matt & Camron
Me too actually. Watched all their podcasts during COVID
I am still sad that the Watch and Listen Podcast ended. I listened to them and somehow Matt made me a watch lover. Thanks for the memories of that show. Thanks, Matt!
Great to hear Grand Seiko get recognized for their artistic dials! I have the cherry blossom dial and it is stunning!
My Ultimate "Grail-Watch" is a Grand Seiko, Their Cherry Blossom dial is absolutely Gorgeous in My Opinion, I'm all kinds of Jealous right now! 😢😂
It is one of the greatest dials I have ever seen. It just arrests you when you pick it up and stare at it….
Some regular content with Matt would be great, you three do up a cracking show.
As a fan of both motoring and horoogy, it is a very exciting thing to see the two collide in this video. Cant thank you guys enough for this vid! Next up, Clarkson/May/Hammod please
I'd pay for this episode.
@@MrEricErejo I think would too, heck I’d probably get the Blue lRay box set 😀

Cats, cars (plus a Vespa!) *and* watches…I knew I got a good vibe from this guy for a reason. (Nice air-shredding at the end, Andrew!)

Love love love Matt Farah and all his content...especially his podcast. Also love this channel. Great stuff!.....ummm more please!

Same.
Shame not more macro shots on this interview....
“My parents were fairly well off”
Buys him a Sub for starting a business and a GMT for getting married: buddy I’d say they’re filthy stinkin’ rich.
If I am correct; Matt his father was the president of Ralph Lauren for many years...
I believe he was CEO of Tiffany Co for a time as well.@@Franzino

Matt always claims he was born privileged. He's humble. He does not deny the advantages he's had in life.
@@destabler Did Matt claim in this video he is "self-made"?
Farah! Welcome fellow car guy! Cars and watches just go together.
Good looking watches Matt. Thanks for your time. Tom and Andrew as always thanks
The man who elevated Rogan from G-Shock to Spring Drive
Congratulations on making it to 1m subscribers! Well deserved

Great guest guys! Love The Smoking Tire and the one takes
ONE MILLION SUBSCRIBERS!!! Talk about burying the lede! Congratulations!
It felt like Farah was doing a monologue.
Congrats to 1M subs 🎉❤
Really enjoyed that , Great vid.
Great video on both parties part! Love Matt's watch content.
I recently purchased a Grand Seiko SBGA413 Shunbun as my first luxury watch. It is amazing looking and feels great.
Matt is such a big part of my car enthusiasm! Really loved hearing more about his thoughts on watch collecting.
Congratulations on the million subscribers! You guys deserve it.🎉
My wife bought me a Kermit for our second anniversary 13 years ago as a surprise. She had no idea other than, "it has a pretty color." I didn't realize it was special until later. I love that watch to this day.
As a fan of both channels, this is just perfect.
Matt is one of my clients, and he got me into watches. :)
More of this please even on your other channel. This was great!
I will take any opportunity to listen to Matt Farrah talk about watches
Dude has like 4 cat trees in his living room alone, put respect on his name.

Forget the watches, can we talk about his insane cat-environment? I’m sooooo jealous and impressed
That Tag F1 was 🔥🔥 back in the 80s! Had the red/black version
Nice eclectic collection Matt.
.
great episode, car guy here and watch enthusiast
It's refreshing hearing how down to earth Matt Farah is as a watch guy compared to someone like Kevin O'leary.
Just got a Grand Seiko thanks to Matt
Congrats on 1M!
Those watch organizers look great. Anyone knows who makes them?
smoothest ending to an interview ive eveer seen, almost like hanging up the phone unexpectedly. lolololol.
I met Matt last year when he was in my town for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. We talked watches for a minute. He was wearing a sweet carbon fiber Panerai.
Where did Matt get those watch cases from?
Shred it, buddy!
I would love to see a discussion with Cameron Weiss on this channel. His knowledge and experience would make for an interesting conversation and he’s putting out some really nice watches these days. Cheers!
@thesmokingtire would love to see Andrew somehow become a guest on the Smoking Tire podcast, so he can talk freely about cars 👍🏼
I love the Explorer, so naturally I was going to like that Nodus, but the sector dial made me really like it.
1m subscribers congratulations!
Love love Craft and Tailored getting a shout out!
why are the watches on the left case mirrored but the ones on the right not.....
nvm they are upside down... ha
Oh boy, and I was recently looking specifically for orange faced watch options.
Great to hear the shoutout to Camron Weiss.
hanna > banana > yellow watch. love the connection lol
Awesome video thanks! Had me researching Nobus but sadly they are made in China… i wish they were not and i would definitely try to get one. Great designs tho
Bloody miss the Watch & Listen
I like how he is geeking out over Seikos. That's a collector, not a status seeker.
“And I wanted to make it on my own.” - GenX Pride!
Other guests? Just keep inviting Matt!

Wow, congratulations on 1m subscribers. I subbed when it was 300k+. Did the numbers explode because of your face? 😂 Keep it up!
Got to a mil eventually, well done.
A million congratulations
Great video.
New appreciation for Matt and his work. Cheers!
That Nodus, wow!
Damn it ..! I want the orange one..hell yea, its cool 👍
I think you guys should start The Smokin Bezel podcast…
1M subs! ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Would Eric Clapton do an interview?
The Orange looks more salmon pink and it really Pops.
Matt looks like he has lost some weight. Looking good and always like to hear from him. Keep it up brotha.
Love the black cats! Fellow black-cat fan here 😀 We have two!
God, Nodus has some fuckin sexy watches
I can't get over that he's talking into a merkin
I was thinking Ewok, from Star Wars.
Was just listening to the Smoking Tire before this
Good stuff.
congrats on the big M ^.^
A letter? Neato. How about sending him a watch with the letter?
LOL all the bezel color "means" is status
I don't take advice on anyone who is allergic to Tesla.
Matt Farah!!!!
Never heard of him
This guy is a good salesman. He can make it sound like that garish Nodus is desirable.
🤟Joe Rogan, Brendan Shaub
Man has an amazing goatee.
Oh no, most of it is the mic fluff! 😂
Man had a Tag Heuer in MIDDLE SCHOOL?..hahaha..Class, I never seen ANYONE with a Better watch than a Casio in Middle school, Maybe a Seiko.😮😂
You should upgrade your city.
Hair combed, you look good..next is a shave
Forget the watches! Let’s see the cats!
So his "perfect" watch is essentially a Rolex Explorer 1 but he doesn't own one🤔🤔🤔
You guys should have Ed Sheeran
4x cats is a lot of cat 💩
"It's a Rolex, it's not a proprietary metal" made me chuckle. Rolex doesn't have a proprietary metal...
Just propriety names for marketing… 😂
