You're talking about exactly what is drawing me into PPG, the joy of exploration. Being in northeast Arizona, the land is vast and sparsely populated, as well as relatively inhospitable. I can't wait to see it all! Thanks for the fun and informative videos.
Zippo hand warmers work great if you put them inside near the core of your body. Ive had them last 24 hrs inside my bib pocket with a tiny amount of zippo fluid. Electric hand warmers also work too. Both under $20 so cheaper than a full vest.
Hey Trevor, I met you briefly at the Salton Sea a couple weeks ago. Great video. I think you meant to say "windward side" at 4:35, as you typically would experience rotor on the leeward side of a mountain. Could you post some links for the cold weather gear you use, like for the gloves and heated vest please. Thanks.
Hey Michael thanks for the comment and it was great meeting you at Salton Sea! The col weather gear I fly with is basic skiing gear with Savior Heat heated gloves.
You need a foot cam so we can see the action of your hands . Or a 360 cam . It may seem silly but I’d like to see how much you work your breaks while your flying in the mountains !
Oh yes, I live in okla, so if you ever pass thru, you gotta L Z,, at my place, Also shower ,food, bedding , cold brew, guitars, campfire, all in my yard, can sleep 4 pilots,,
Hey man stay away from my trailers!!! All my wives were calling me super worried 😡 I had to calm them down by telling them it was just a new form of missionary transport…
Hey Trevor! I'm planning a 50 mile XC flight, from the Pacific coast, to my house, about 50 miles one way. I'm a little freaked out about it, cause I'll have to fly over the Cascade mountains, not very high, but the trees are no joke, super dense, so not many landings options. Any advise to overcome fears of flying over thick forest?
I like the way you present your decision-making process in your videos. It's very helpful, thanks!

Glad you liked it!
Love your videos and how you use every situation as a training opportunity!
I haven't even watched this yet, and I'm sold on the title.
Another great video bro!! 🤙🏼
Some bad ass scenery.
Oh and sweet vid as always 👍👍
Yeah, you're right about the windproofing! Doesn't matter what you're wearing if the wind penetrates you will freeze...
