@@LukeMartinShow more "pretty, pretty" things. Because everything you ate there in that video, I wouldn't even eat it, I wouldn't even know what that is or I didn't even know it existed, Colombia is a very beautiful country and therefore, in line with our Spanish heritage, we eat many more things. normal things, like arepas, wheat and corn flour, very normal Spanish things, "beans", very normal things.
@Jaygrisales why I want to know this country because I have a new friend from Columbia. And we talk and chat every time. One day I want to visit your country. I am from Indonesia
Nice to watch you explore Columbia, but that arm-cutting story is horrific for me! This time I saw a fruit I had never seen before, that banana passion fruit looked more attractive than ordinary passion fruit! Their food looks delicious, except for that Armadillo Stew and the turtle, Mamma Mia, you are so brave! The dancers dancing in front of the clock tower make me feel the enthusiasm of South America, thank you very much for sharing, happy travels! 👍🥰🙏
Colombia is a wonderful country with all the photographs, from beaches, deserts, mountains, plains, great variety, Cartagena is the most visited city in Colombia, good video. 23:32.
4:57 in the Philippines we call it duhat and we sprinkled it with rock salt to counter the sour taste. It's delicious if its ripe however it can stain your clothes if you are not careful 6:07 we call it chico in the Philippines and its delicious however it smells like arm sweath 😅 or the smell is like someone's drunk from alcohol
maybe is a similar fruit but, what you call duhat is different than colombian corozo (Acrocomia aculeata) which is an american plant... maybe spaniards took it to Asia as well as asian fruits came to America...
That first stall you ate at(with all the weird meats), and the story with the dude getting his arm cut off had me scared LOL. I can tell you werent enjoying some of the foods in this video, and its ok to let people know if something isnt good.
This is series is gonna be 🔥 Luke!! Got mad ❤ for 🇨🇴. 🇨🇴 food is some of the best in the world!! And the culture is beautiful as well. Great ⚽️ culture as well!! Definitely on my 🪣 list of countries to travel!! And I'm having 🇨🇴 ☕️ right now. Gor mad respect for you Luke!! You should visit 🇧🇷 and 🇦🇷!!
Passion fruit juice on a hot day is a must with a side of hot food never goes wrong...next place to must visit..My home island.. Puerto Rico..u will not regret it..u will fall in love with almost everything.. specially the food n beaches..Hope u go visit 😊✌️👍
Please DO NOT eat that. You are risking exposing yourself to leprosy!! The armadillo may be infected w it and you won’t even know it. Please stay away from it. I know many of my fellow Colombians specially the people on these kind of markets would say that’s not true but science says otherwise. They are totally oblivious to the dangers of it
Colombia is a great country for sure: Very friendly people, beautiful chicas and very good food. The nature is second to none. But you can't let your guard down. It is dangerous and things can happen quickly.
Dangerous?... what kind of "danger"? being pickpocketed? assaulted? kidnapped?... I felt very safe there, just don´t give the chance to get robbed, like in other several countries...
What is the name of the restaurant Anthony bourdain ate at? I will be going to Cartagena and I would love to go visit the restaurant anyone have the name? Thanks in advance
He ate at a stall at the Bazurto market called Cecilia’s. I ate there last November and it wasn’t good at all. Maybe new ownership? In the walled city he ate at a restaurant called La Cevicheria which was great.
I hardly see travel videos about Colombia....its fresh and interesting seeing their lifestyle
It’s ColOmbia, not Columbia
Lots more videos coming! We covered a lot of Colombia 🇨🇴

I'm going back in November and can't wait to try this stuff.
For work reasons I am living in Neiva but I miss the visits to the Bazurto market, the place where fruits, vegetables and meats have more flavor.
Un mexicano que espera con ansias ir a la bella Colombia, quisiera casarme con una colombiana. ❤

Luke Martin, never been to Columbia too, thanks for this video.
You better spell Colombia right. I know some Colombians that will cut your arm off with a machete if you spell it wrong.
Luke, those foods are covered with flies. How do you keep from getting very sick? Love your channel!!

Cartagena is similar to the Philippines Vigan City which is a UNESCO world heritage site
So interesting video👍👍👍
The fruit that you said wasn't a wood apple is a Sapodilla - very commonly found in India but native to Latin America
Oh that fruit we call chiku in gujrati! It makes the most amazing milkshake, delicious 😋
Delicious food love what i am seeing
Your video bring some good memories from my visit to cartagena. Why you do not recommend eating armadillo?
