How does it handle road bumps and cracked streets? Also for a rider of 1,75 cm (5ft9incs) is it ok ?

@@pd_v4855 its quite stable and well balance. I would said it depends on your tyres that's very important. I'm about 0.10m shorter than u😊.

I have a 2012 Kymco 200 i and may move to a larger displacement scooter but am very reluctant to part with the 200 i. This would be a good choice. My 200 i has never let me down and the roads where I live Arizona USA are mostly 35 to 55 mph but at 50 plus it is tapped out. Like your videos and subscribed. Scooter on life is good. Oh I forgot, I am 76, live to ride, ride to live.

This thing is a fantastic machine. For 320ccs you can't get better.

For those who still look at this :
Imo the front brake is quite underpowered. With fresh brake fluid and OEM as well as EBC sinter pads, you have to squeeze the hell out of that lever. I do come from 1 finger braking liter bikes, but the issue still stands.

Very interesting review and interesting to see kymco working so hard in this mid sector. I owned the original downtown 300 with about the same performance. When running properly thisvwas like a terrier on steroids but sadly it developed a few problems which is why i believe kymco ceased making it. Lets hope this 320cc will be the solution. I currently ride the 400i kymco.

@Jason Selvarajah hi there jason, my problems were mainly down to the cdi box which in turn did damage to the coil spark plug and ht lead. All were replaced eventually after much negotiation with kymco who were convinced there was nothing wrong with it since ths diagnostic tool they attached registered no faults. However my mechanic told him that clearly there were problems and he suspected the cdi and the coil. I should point out that this problem had been ongoing for some time. After i traded my downtown for the 400i, kawasaki were selling the j 300. Although considered by many as a rebadged downntown there were notable differences. The cdi unit was designed by kawasaki themselves and the salesman i spoke to confirmed that kymco admitted they had experienced several problems and were discontinuing their downtown. Im happy to say that the 400i is a completely different machine which i have had for almost 5 years now.

Another reviewer who can't tell the difference between halogen and LED headlights. This bike does not have LED headlights.
It has regular H4 halogen headlights and a couple of low power LED position lamps for decoration more than anything.

I have a downtown since july 2019 and it's true what he says, at lights no one can keep up with me in acceleration 0 to 60 km/h, it's an amazing machine to put any danger behind in traffic situations. Where is laking to me is in twisty roads, it needs a physical ride to lean but it's not a motorcycle i guess it's ok (it's my first scooter, i drove only bikes before), also i do believe that stock tyres are not the best.

The kymco downtown 350 is only a 320cc. This downtown 350 is not faster then The kymco ak 550. The ak 550 is alot better and faster the the downtown 350 as its only 320cc.
