I love the gag that they are all on the exact same cliff ledge in the desert. Like they couldn’t even bother to move to another cliff ledge or even use another angle. That is way funnier to me than it should be.
i like to imagine it as the band just collectively copying eachother's ideas because that just seems funny to me. murderface got the original idea for the ad's layout, then was copied by pickles, who was then copied by nathan, who was then copied by toki
It was just a lie for the add for sure. He had to say something to sell the product so he just said it made him not hate his dad. Really he probably only said that because he values his dads friendship so much that saying the sauce made it that good would be a great selling point.

I wish I could isolate the little fanfare used to conclude each segment. They use it so much throughout the show and it's synonymous to me with contempt for shameless schlock, therefore it would be an excellent notification sound

Nathan "I Guess I've always hated my father" - Yeah until you didn't starting in "Dethdad" which yeah I guess this makes more sense with how Nathan felt about his family from "Dethfam" but I always saw that as him being more annoyed/embarrassed by his mom then about his dad. Admittedly jokes and ideas for characters especially in comedy shows like this change all the time and you alter and adapt something if you have a better place to go with it as honestly I think it's a lot more funnier and interesting if Nathan actually has a GOOD relationship with his father (the only good family relationship any of Dethklok have thinking about it) then him hating him so I'm going to say this is him just saying that for some stupid reason to try and sell his sauce more.
