G'day Dave, The wildlife noises up at Tumulla were preferable to the traffic din at Georges. The pair of bulls lowing at each other, one on my side, the other opposite, ended before the dinky toys thumped up to me. Steve.
G'day Adrian, Rather COLD here, but otherwise ok. The headlight flare was a problem due to the lateness of the caper, not pondered when setting up some 150 minutes earlier. Yes, them dinky toys sounded magnificent. Steve.
G'day, There usually ain't much to spot here in Bathurst, so when something of interest does appear, I gotta get enthused, even though the things ran LATE. Steve.
G'day Josh, Just found your You Tube channel. You have a swag of video clips, so you are obviously energetic. I will take a gander at some of your clips when I am next at the local library (freebie www). Next thing of potential interest, hysterical tour to Rylstone saturday. Might hafta contemplate trekking down for that. Steve.
G'day again Josh, AH, for that trio I would definitely make the effort. Though chasing trains on the branch is not easy now days. The JHR CTN lists the train at a load of 380 tonne, worked by three locos not identified. The trio of dinky toys would be able to drag such a load up the Blue Mountains and maintain running time. OR, other motive power might drag the train up the hill, the trio of dinky toys being attached at Lithgow. Will hafta wait and see what the weather holds for saturday. Steve.
We're not letting anyone in at the moment due to the plague and border closures. But, I am told that most mobs here are suffering from lack of qualified crews. But, I know of a couple of young blokes who desire to get onto the footplate, and they have had no success. The qualifications necessary are very expensive to attain and even then there is no guarantee of employment. The good ole governmental days are long gone.
Great video there Steve despite the failing light it came out well, I hope you gave the Magpie something earlier too.

Loved the sound of the chaff cutters coming up the hill. Hope you're doing well, my Southern counterpart. Cheerio Ado
