DNS never handles email address. Not sure what the speaker is implying when she says its like an address book

fedoracore321 DNS Server contains list of domain names along with the ip address they point too. so it's similar to phone book. once it gets ip address for the domain name from dns, emaol gets forwarded to that domain.

DNS is what finds where the Domain is. Like a phonebook. Lets say you live in feda@217.89.89.89, that address is in the phone book, it says where feda lives, and send it to that direction (IP).
