Holy, that Mighty Machines song was such a throwback omg memory unlocked! Aaron and Jaceiya splitting up was the biggest betrayal of my childhood. And Landon and Isiah splitting up in such a mature, respectful way was such a contrast to some age-appropriate reactions from other competitors in later episodes (*cough* Talon in the forest *cough*)
Unbelievable amount of kindness from the biggest sweethearts on the show
A) Glad I had the key to unlock Mighty Machines in your brain!!
B) The Split was so stressful as a kid watching. Almost had to leave the room lol but yes Talon was so surprising (don’t you worry, I have so much to say about talon in the forest. I’m still laughing)

Ran into this channel after searching for this show for MULTIPAL years. For the longest time "In Real Life" was considered LOST MEDIA. this show is REALLY special to me, all the kids my age in 2010 were watching cartoons but me and my mom watched The Amazing Race and In Real Life. I remember my mom and me talking about the show multiple times a day "Mom I'm gonna apply when I'm 12." This show was special to me, and seeing it now that I'm in my 20s is the definition of nostalgia. When I found the seasons on Kidoodle I watched them all from midnight to 7 in the morning. playing the old YTV games and voting for the players to come back, rooting for Christian to win S2, and watching the marathons YTV had on of all episodes back to back was absolutely amazing and the strongest memories from me as a child. So thank you for being the first person to cover this huge chunk of my childhood :)

I like that you included the Mighty Machines bit! That unlocked a childhood memory for me.
The Wii is probably the best big reward in the entire series in my opinion.
I'm really excited for the next episodes because all the contestants are very strong, the stakes are high and there are huge battles and drama.
I think the first season truly has a top tier final 6! Anyone could go at any time.
Mighty Machines song makes me so nostalgic I had to include it somehow!
I would have the same reaction winning a Wii in 2008. Id care more about that than the grand prize LOL

Myself and Sam are actually planning to meet up this month (in real life lol) on location of the first episode of season 2. It’s been a long time in the works and we are just confirming a date this month!! :)
I would love to do a podcast with Andreas and he said he would be down. Just going to wait a little bit when I’m more near season 3. Very exciting either way
I have some thoughts on the teams reshuffling.
Purple:
No surprise that Ben and Ruby-Rae decided to stick together, considering how outstanding they’ve performed and how well they get along.
Yellow:
A little shocked that they decided to stay together. But I guess Maddison and Talon’s arguing motivates them to perform their best? 🤷♂️
Brown:
I saw Graeme’s decision coming from a mile away! It was no secret he felt that Tyler was holding him back. Poor Tyler…
I gotta give him props for proving his strength in that axing challenge! 👍
Grey:
I didn’t really want Landon and Isiah to separate. But I understand why they did; It was a close call last time and they wanted to see if they could perform better with someone else. Happy to see they had no hard feelings at all. 😊
Red:
Definitely the most shocking! They may not have performed as well as Purple, but I think they were doing great together. Got a few Big Rewards!
Maybe it was because Aaron felt like he didn’t get along with Jaicyea that well? Or maybe he really wanted to be with Graeme and knew that he was gonna want to switch too? Ultimately, I think Aaron and Graeme made a much better and iconic duo.
Sad to see how hurt Jaicyea was with Aaron’s decision. 😔
But a game, is a game, is a game. 🤷♂️
Agree with EVERYTHING YOU SAID! Especially about Red. I really do think Aaron wanted to switch to Graham (probably had a good relationship with him outside the game I’m guessing) but man, that was such a big gamble. He got extremely lucky.
I felt bad for Tyler but glad he had a mini victory in his boot episode!
This first season has so much drama and gameplay even compared to modern reality tv. It really is a treat
If orange team was still around for this episode Jaiden would definitely want to switch teams lol

Clearly a very big moment for Talon. Unfortunately he will lose all character growth in the Adventure Guides episode
He will always have episode 8
My opinion
Purple team - not surprised that they stayed
Red team - suprised that aaron wanted to switch
Brown team - not surprised that graeme wanted to switched
Gray team - not surprised that both team members wanted to switch
Yellow team - kinda suprised that Talon wanted to stay despite all the arguing that he and maddie had lol
100% agree. I think Maddy stayed due to Talons dad fire experience but Talon is a surprise. I think maybe he had a big crush on her at this point?
@@BiemanTVLMFAO where did u get the crush idea from? I think the reasons why Maddie wanted to stay cause cause of Talon's dad being a firefighter plus imo also with the remaining 10 competiters left Talon was the one that would suit well with her despite all the arguing they had.
