Great story, but I got a little lost between… I was 20 years old going to prison for selling steroids and realizing how bad I’d screwed up my life, to I’m out of prison, living in Mexico manufacturing and selling steroids! Apparently the first stint in prison didn’t make much of an impression. Crazy story though!

I think he should have said "when I was in my twenties" or early twenties...
When you get a bit older especially times that were hectic and weird can sort of blend together, especially if you're using drugs or something (I wouldn't be surprised if he did some speed, uppers are very common in the body building scene, they let you pump iron like crazy and when combined with steroids you can get huge gains in short time, also drugs are supper common in prisons, makes the monotonous routine and other much more horrible realities of prison life a bit more tolerable)...
As a former drug addict I can tell you much of my late teens and early twenties seem like such a mess, I often have trouble pinning down the exact year some things happened unless I think really hard, start thinking about what other things happen before and after it, who I met etc and I may sometimes have to ask some of the people involved or people involved in things that happened close to it when exactly that happened... So I actually find that thing very understandable
