Hello, I tried this on my garage door opener, I have the same exact model. However it’s not picking up my remote. I have a lift OEM master remote that’s listed as a compatible with this unit. However when I initiate the learn sequence by pushing the radio button, nothing happens. Do you know if there radio antenna was somehow turned off? I really don’t want to call a technician out to come out and diagnose if it’s something simple. Thanks

Would you know if it's the same procedure when programming the Homelink remote that's built in the car?

Basically the programing procedure for the remote, YES it will be the same. However, it is important to consult your car's manufacturer manual for specific instructions on how to activate HomeLink.
