I am on the other side of the spectrum you described To use the boat analogy, I typically sit on the floor in the cabin of the boat and try to pretend the wheel doesn't exist. Sometimes it steers itself into choppy waters, and then I have to get myself up and steer the boat somewhere calmer before I can go back to staring at my feet. I'll have to watch the video again tommorow when I am less tired so I can absorb it more properly. I've been watching a lot of the stuff you've made over the course of the past few days and it always makes me want to start doing something more than just staring at my feet. Taking the wheel seems a bit too daunting, but maybe it's time I went back to appreciating the water.

It's okay to steer yourself a little bit, you don't need to continually hold it forever. I'm sure you'll find the balance between the two.
