I found the conversation very interesting. Feeling good to know Kannada talk shows are getting classier by the day. As I was listening to the last segment, I felt both of them deserved the hamper. I heaved a sign of relief when you announced the results. Both of them, Vijay and Anand have tasted the heady concoction of success and bitter failures; That could be the reason for their strength of character and demeanor. The host is quite cool and level headed gentleman. Thank God for bringing in health awareness. We listen to it for the show has celebrities walking in and we commoners are their fans. While listening to them, we get to know the important issues on health care. It reminds me of how mothers make their kids take in the food while showing the moon!
Hello, Mr Vinay, what is new? Looking forward to new talk shows. It does inspire to see many successful people had to overcome numerous obstacles to reach the zenith. What drove them to do so seems like a mystery. Was it consistency? Was it the innate drive to fight everything in order to achieve the goals? Was it luck and the support of the higher intelligence called God? Was it destiny? OR was it the mix of all these?! That's a heady concoction.
His show is good but should be a Kannada show....this is the only episode I liked the best...both Vijay and Anand are speaking Kannada mostly...though they could avoid whatever English they spoke too... I don’t know y our Kannadigas struggle to speak pure Kannada...
By the way, it is unfortunate that healthcare facilities in India are beyond the reach of a common man. The lower-middle class and middle-class people who have a hand to mouth existence with additional commitments of educating their kids/housing issues and trying to make a decent living fall into the category of typical 'trishanku'. That is neither here nor there stage. People below the poverty line have the Government aid or NGOs support or charities. Richie Rich people have the facilities at their command. We, the commoners cannot spend like the rich man nor can we stretch our hands asking for help as it interferes with our self-respect. The reason for this scenario is our huge and unmanageable population, changing lifestyles, aping the west, fast changing technology, attitudinal changes... the list could go on. I have to key in these thoughts with a faint hope that health care becomes affordable at least by 2030.
this is one that show which is far better than many of the shows which work just for TRPs.
