The whole thing with him being told Dana was dating and he got mad is a complete lie. He felt pressured by people asking too much about his drugs and he found a quick story to pique their interest more than asking if he’s getting high. He has a really big tell when he lies too. When he croaks and can’t spit out a word and goes “ehhhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhh haha ehhhhhhhh awwww hehe”. He was such a liar and when he felt the walls closing in he would make up something to become the victim.
Im an Artie Lange fan as well as a recovering addict/ alcoholic..& the ONE thing that ALL addicts have in common is LYING! Another VERY COMMON thing is MAKING EXCUSES for drinking & using..& in this episode its OBVIOUS that he's doing BOTH
@@HeaZyay Yea that is true..but the reality is that eventually EVERYONE around an addict gets SICK of the constant LYING.. that's why even tho I'm an Artie Lange fan..I thought that the Stern Show had NO CHOICE but to fire him..& considering that Artie CONTINUED to use for YEARS afterwards shows that Stern made the right choice
The whole drinking Dana thing is complete bs, like I’m sure that legit did happen where he found out she was dating, but probably at another point but Artie knew coming back after missing a day they’d be all over him about drugs, so he had to give them something hence this story which totally deflected away from the issue of his continued heroin use
Man.. Artie completely destroyed his life. He had it made. Great gig, road money, great girl. Just couldn’t hold it together. I saw a video of him recently and he’s got that long term drug addict cadence and blank stare. All that comedic genius is gone. So sad
Howard using the listeners to call out Artie. I refuse to believe the people there fell for Arties lies. Maybe on air to help him save face, but they knew.
I absolutely hate being at work listening to these then halfway through notice it’s looping. Fuck that
thumbs down and don't recommend for them alllllll!!
@@llcooln8 no I love the real stern show as long as I can hear it without looping it’s fine, but most of these clips repeat for no reason
This one didn't
I listened to the crash and burn book and it's really eye opening do how crazy his life was

Yes! He ALWAYS did that when he was lying...I wondered why no one ever talked about that or caught on.
Freds impression of Dominic...
One of the best KoABs calls in history...
16:16 you think she's sleeping with this guy? 😂😂😅😅😅

AGREED 💯
Yep. When any liar starts babbling like Artie would do it is 💯 deflecting.
good strategy
Correct. These are all lies from an addict. Artie was just very skilled at it.
Totally thought this!
I just randomly thought about Artie and this was the first video I clicked on. Whats he up to now?
Thank u

Good episode. Bad thumbnail. Bad!

they all HAD to know, it was blatantly obvious, but Howie wanted 'good' radio
Obviously
@DarthVader-we5gl that's what Howie got payed for, right Einstein?
@drexlspivey3047 correct, chode. but to feign ignorance was ridiculous
there was nothing they could do besides what they did.
The only other thing they could have done is just fire him
that has to be a set up when the guy called in to ask about the stupid name game with 2 narcissists
The wig used to love tearing people down about their personal lives but don't tread on his.
It was awesome
Artie is so full of it. So many lies
Artie clearly knew nothing about Druq-Tests
Artie probably knows a lot about druq tests he just played dumb to make himself look less like an addict
@@RoryK he was clearly scared of a hair test. heron and coke dont show after a little while. coke leaves your system super quick
That was tracy morgan right
Lol I was like wtf
thank you. i love you, still, baby gorilla.
