I wonder how it would have played out if SB didn't decide to return. BM could have stayed Jason as long as he wanted with the same outcome until the twin thing and messed up Franco stuff
where was this guy when Lisa came around, but remember the writers wanted to make it a fatal attraction s/l and I think that Scrubs were the best with the s/l but they just dragged it out way too long---it really should have ended when Patrick rescued Robin from the well, but the writers liked Briana Brown so they kept bringing her back until she finally decided it was time to move of to directing and got into the Disney Directors program.
Davida Shensky The girl Lisa who played the psycho GH wanted to be a Disney director? oh wow. I agree that storyline went on to long. general hospital has a way about taking too long with story lines
@@rosanneperkins9516 No the story ended because KMc was unhappy with the syringe s/l and was ready to move into directing---she'd applied to and gotten accepted into Disney's Directorial training program---she left back in 1998 to pursue directing(she enrolled in NYU's directing program) and then left and shadowed directors while also making short films) and during those long periods after she returned in 2006 where the s/l was written for her to be off screen like her trip to Africa when Patrick slept with Lisa on the same night as Robin's return---she was off in a directing project. KMc deserves the success she's having as a director because she worked hard to get there. I think if JT would have realized what they would do his character without Robin there he would have exited with her when she left in 2012. It took him 4 years to realize they didn't care to give him good story and he finally looked for other opportunities in the soap world and left GH dragged on the stalking s.l way too long simply because they liked the actress who played Lisa. They should have used her to get rid of Felix and Sabrina
Davida Shensky you know so much about the backstory on the show it’s amazing !!!I did think when Robin was supposed to be dead in 2013 that you really saw the range of JT’s acting ability because he did an amazing job as a grieving husband trying to raise a daughter on his own.Deserved a daytime Emmy for that. And it still blows me away when Robin comes back from the dead and their reunion in the church. I understood why he stayed for that round but I think when they took Robin out again in 2014, considering her parents are spies that Patrick and Emma should’ve went to. When Patrick and Robin got divorced because of that and he ended up with Sam, I was like well that can’t work you know Jason is going to come back and Sams true love is Jason. But I said in another post as soon as I saw Victor Cassadine sitting in Robin and Patrick’s living room, I knew they were gonna take Robin away again and I stopped watching at that time. So I’ve had to catch up through videos. I don’t really watch Young and the restless that much I’ve never been a big fan, but I hear he does a good Billy Abbot over there. I don’t think he gets anywhere as much screen time as he did as Patrick Drake. He also created the character of Patrick Drake and the writers have done a wonderful thing allowing him and Robin still be a couple, have another child, and it’s still the same Patrick.
Davida Shensky I do have a question for you because I can’t seem to figure out how this all transpired, since I wasn’t watching the show when Patrick and Sam got together. did he actually asked her to marry him like was there a big engagement scene and then Jason just happened to come back?
@@rosanneperkins9516 they played it out exactly like they did the Robin back from the dead s/l because that's the way they wanted it played out, but because SB was on YnR at the time of Jason's return BM took over the role. They used KMc to initiate his return but she's driving talking to someone in the car that you don't see his face. Then there's an accident so they get separated, then he's hit by another car and his face is messed up bad and he has to have plastic surgery. That way no one knows who the stranger is with no name, that it's Jason. Elizabeth and Nicolas know the truth but keep quiet. When he leaves the hospital he has no where to go so Elizabeth offers to let him stay and they become a couple. Then at the NB everyone learns the truth---then Sam and Jason get back together and Sam breaks it off with Patrick---Emma cries for Robin, they to find her in Paris and realize she was kidnapped by the Cassadines's and rescue her so Robin and Patrick get remarried and leave as a family.
