This is probably one of the first time you've seen Robin actually holding the baby without Patrick there. All the other times, you've seen her holding a crying baby, it was most likely a doll, since babies can only be on set for a limited amount of time. They were already setting it up for her PPD s/l. Not sure why they wanted to write her that way, other than to set up some drama in their relationship with the baby
I love them incorporating history every now and then. Robert has never been a good patient, and in the 90s there was a time when Anna was his nurse. She never wanted to wring his neck more.
I just realize Robin didn’t realize he was there so I guess he has a key to get in... It’s so odd that Robin‘s postpartum went in spurts like with Carly her postpartum started right when she had Michael. most PPD I see happens within the baby first being born.
That you tried to compare Carly to Robin is sacrilege. Carly is an abomination and one of the characters who ruined the show (Sonny and Jason are the others). I only watched “Mafia Of Our Lives” while Robin was there and when she and then Patrick left, and it became clear that this soap was going to double down on Sonny and Carly and Jason - criminals and molls - despite dwindling ratings, I never tuned back in. I only watch pre-Sonny-as-main-character GH (F off, @Maurice Bernard, you dragged down the whole genre with your ego) or non-Sonny/Carly/Jason episodes of Scrubs.
