I swear the whole concept of this game is so fucking cool. The zones look and sound atmospheric as hell, all the characters are cool and interesting, the whole concept of loops that will never end, the whole concept of time police, how everything gets fucked up as you keep looping the game and there's no turning back. the reason the nuclear throne helps fix the wasteland or whatever is because its well, a throne. it doesnt have any special thing wich reverts time or cures everything, its just that whoever sits on it becomes the king (or queen) of the wasteland, a land of radioactive chaos turns into a land of strange order, ruled by a king (or queen) who defeated a interdimensional superweapon

everyone makes the joke that it's a surprised chair, but i always saw the cannons on the front as one big eye and two smaller eyes, am i in the minority on that?
Now that you've pointed out that the big cannon looks like an eye too (especially because of how the radiation shining on the inside of the cannon looks like a pupil looking to the side, directly at the player), I'm seeing it as having one big eye with the big cannon, and the smaller ones as being just cannons. The whole Throne sorta looks like a giant cartoony Tektite from The Legend of Zelda I really like the sound of it "having" 3 eyes instead of 2 or 1 though, because it makes a lot more sense given that the rest of the game is filled with horribly mutated and deformed creatures

The vocalization towards the first part of the song sounds like anguish or someone distraught, like on the verge of crying. I imagine fish (or whoever is singing) is finally happy to reach the throne after hearing about it for their entire lives only to discover the throne itself is hostile, and that their heart breaks upon the realization, but the determination to keep going and to discover more secrets about the world is the resolution to the song, They stop crying, focus on the task at hand, and move on
Ive done it once, best bossfight of my life... I couldnt hear the theme over the sound of gunfire, explosions, and my own screaming, but after like 7 tries to 1v1 the throne with a screwdriver, i took that badboy down!

When suddenly a giant beam fires from where the stairs once where, thank God you stepped back. But you look back to see mechanical legs expand out of the sides of the throne as it begins to rain fire upon you.
