Besides, some people who are LGBTQ+ sort of experiment with what they like, meaning if you were maybe straight but found yourself becoming attracted to someone of the same gender. You'd put yourself as gay or bi, but at the same time you may not like other people of the same gender, just that specific person. To add onto this, anyone can have a crush on anyone. A gay person could end up being best friends with someone who is straight but develop feelings for them over time because obviously there is something about your best friend that you find attractive even though you know there is no chance with them
