I didn’t make any plans for this particular build but everything I talk about in the video could be adjusted to 36” wide. It actually makes it easier because you wouldn’t need to join the multiple back sheets you could just rip it from one thinner sheet for the back and just divide everything by 2 or 3 to get symmetrical cubbies on top and bottom.
Great video this solved my issues about the wider back section on the upper cabinet. Did you double up on the vertical side piece, making it 1.5 inches instead of 3/4. Thanks again
Thanks James! Glad it helped out! Everything stayed 3/4” all around on this build (back and sides), I just used the pocket holes to line up the back and then covered the seams with the 3/4 trim pieces so it looked clean from the front.
I've got a _really_ old (like late '90s early 00's) "Charge Air Pro" 5.5hp compressor. It claims 11.5cfm on the info plate. Maybe thats why I haven't had as good of luck with the paints but the water based clear goes pretty well. To be honest, I didnt even check that - i just blindly bought that thing on Amazon - plugged it up - and did some test sprays. Thanks for bringing that to my attention! And thanks for watching!
Great question - apologies for leaving out that detail! I pre-drilled 6x holes through the spreaders on top of the cubbies, then lined up the top and put 1" wood screws up into the seat from inside the cubbies below.
Great presentation! This video had such great quality. Keep it up!
Thanks so much Ian!
Hi, I really like the hall tree. Unfortunitly, it is too big. Is there an easy way to go for a 36 inch wide hall tree?
Thanks

The paint color is called Carolina ….? Missed the last part
“Carolina Gull” by Sherman Williams, but Lowe’s matched it for me with just the name. Thanks for watching!
What compressor are you using for that HVLP gun? I see that it needs 15 cfm, and a lot of the compressors I am looking at can't produce that
