So its part of the Black Halo album, the second part of the story. Epica album is part one ( the name also inspired the name of the band Epica).
The original story is from Faust part I and II written Georg faust. His biography is in 30 languages, most famous for 'selling his soul to the devil' as he had infinite greed for knowledge

So jealous, Roy left the band about a year after I discovered the band and when I finally saw them live it was for the Silverthorn tour. Still epic, but Roy was the GOAT

I only watch Kamelot stuff with Roy Khan, at least in his era they are always like that! Super extra, I love it, also you should check Elizabeth I, II and III live, it's fantastic

The Roy Khan era was the best, that lineup it's still unbeatable. Golden days of Kamelot.

Absolutely amazing band! It's an American band though, but the vocalist there, Roy Khan, is Norwegian! He later quit though, and was replaced by the Seventh Wonder(a Swedish band) vocalist, Tommy Karevik. :) And though I think Tommy does an outstanding job, I find Roy Khan's voice to be just absolutely unique and in a class of its own.
Ghost Opera is an awesome song, absolutely! And yes, this is pretty much Kamelot's standard sound. All the bells and whistles! ;)

Kamelot is considered to be an American band formed by Thomas Youngblood (Floridian). Although, I'd go so far as to consider them an international band....Roy Khan (singer at the time of this vid) is Norwegian and current vocalist Tommy Karevik is Swedish, while Keyboardist Oliver Palotoi and drummer Alex Landenburg are both German, leaving Sean Tibbetts (basist) as the other American.

The former drummer Casey Grillo is also American. He was the primary drummer, only left a couple years ago after over a decade with them.

Dude… band from Tampa FL, with a Norwegian singer, now a Swedish singer. A more international band but really main songwriter is American.
