Roy Kahn, singer of my heart ! Listen to him first time back in the early 90's in the Conception's first album... He never disappointed me. Nice video.
Awesome reaction! Roy Khan is one of my favorite vocalists. Silky smooth, but powerful, which fits Kamelot’s style of power metal perfectly. I read somewhere that the song is actually about an opera performer who was assaulted on the way to her first performance, and thus never got her big break. Later in life, she reflects on what could have been, and finds that she’s been haunted by this “Ghost Opera” all along and begins to lose her mind. Someone else suggested the live performance of Elizabeth I, II and III. I will second that; it’s probably the best representation of what Roy Khan’s Kamelot could achieve. Tommy Karevik has been their vocalist for the last 3 albums and if you want to hear him, I’d try Revolution, which also features harsh vocals by Alissa White-Gluz of Arch Enemy. Keep on Rockin’!
This singer is Roy Khan, he's not with the band anymore. Current Kamelot vocalist is Tommy Karevik (also lead vocalist of Seventh Wonder). If you liked Roy's voice you should check out their live performance of Elizabeth (I, II, & III) from the DVD "One Cold Winter's Night." It's a masterpiece.

You've heard Tommy Karevik (Kamelot's current singer,) on Ayreon - The Day That the World Breaks Down. I prefer Tommy's voice over Roy's. A beautiful song you should check out is Under Grey Skies by Kamelot.
