Hey Malcom! Looks like you're losing some weight, looking good brother! Huge fan of the channel, my friends and family can't get enough of my BBQ and it's all thanks to you and this channel. Keep up the good work!
Man I really love this channel. Malcolm is a great guy & he’s not an ass cook who judges what you do to YOUR OWN food. He just says how he does it and he likes his food. So if you like how you do something good for you. Don’t go tryin to shut down other people! Keep up the great work guys.
Ever since this social distancing and stay at home thing started it's been a perfect time to get to know my smoker. Barely a few days go by before I'm back out there firing her up and getting her ready for the next cook. Just me, some wood, fire, and my smoker. Staying at home hasn't been bad at all, best of all I can see my neighbor watching me over the fence wanting to come over and eat
I did this one today. Gas grill with a smoke tray worked well. I went a little heavy with the sugar so it didn't harden the way I would have liked, but I set my broiler to low and finished the crust in the oven. Best turkey I've ever made - might be the death sentence for Thanksgiving deep fried turkey. Thanks Malcolm, you're a National treasure!
Mr. Malcom I wanted you to know my family loved this recipe. I went and got one of those massive Turkey breast from The Butcher Shopp and followed your instruction and what a awesome recipe. Thank you again for all the time you spend on your recipes helping us to be the best back yard BBQ cooks we can be. I hope you can come back to Pensacola FL. again soon. Would love to see you and your wonderful wife again.
I just finished a turkey breast with this recipe but instead of injecting I brined it overnight ... the result is a magnificent balance of sweet and savory and deliciously moist and tender. Love your channel, Malcolm. You absolutely rock!
Love it! Thank you. I brine my turkey breast in a salt, sugar water brine for 24hrs. I rinse them, pat dry. Season with dry rub. Throw on smoker. 250F ish. Light flavored wood. And you’ll have the juiciest turkey breast everytime
My son harvested his first wild turkey last weekend and when I asked him how he wanted to cook it, he said we had to "find that honey turkey that Malcolm made". Turned our beautiful and delicious.
I smoked my first couple of turkey breast yesterday for Thanksgiving. I used your method as a guide with minor changes and everyone said excellent job. It was pretty awesome. Way better than baking a whole turkey.
Ok Malcom, tried this recipe for Easter dinner. It was insane! I didn't inject, but did brine the turkey breast the night before. It was perfect. Thanks for all of your videos...keep them coming!
I just made my first Turkey breast on my pit boss pellet grill. I followed your recipe to a tee except I used hickory pellets. Absolutely awesome! The glaze was excellent! Thanks so much for walking me through it, happy Easter!!
I've always wanted to try this. Some smoked turkey sounds real good 😋 Get some roasted garlic herb potatoes, collard greens, and Mac n cheese, and it's lit. All I need is an ice cold beer.
I cooked our Thanksgiving turkey breast using this recipe and it’s fantastic. Few tweaks: a 12 hour brine and let it sit with a seasoning on for about 2 hours before cooking on a charcoal grill (indirect method). Everyone loved it! Toys cook time about 2 hours.
This is the only youtube channel i watch for how to videos and tips on what to smoke next. Brisket, ribs, whole turkey, prime rib, all started by watching Malcom. Now everyone thinks I'm the bbq pitmaster lol
Made this for Thanksgiving 2020, looks like the start of a new family tradition! Many thanks for another great recipe and your straightforward delivery! Also looks like you’ve lost weight, keep up the good work there man!
Thank you for the great and relatively fast recipe. I have followed the instructions and the meal turned out well. I have used weber one touch charcoal grill. Thank you one more time.
Thanks for a great how-to video. Today was my first time using my pellet smoker and I found this video. I was able to easily follow it and my family loved how well the turkey turned out.
Hey Malcome; I thought I'd take a minute to send a note and let you know that me and the family up here in Canada enjoyed this recipe over this Thanksgiving weekend. I brined the breasts over night (3/4 cup kosher with 1 cup of brown sugar in 8 liters of water). I rinsed them good and dried them on a rack in the fridge for a couple days. My dry rub consisted of sage, thyme, oregano, garlic, salt, pepper and smoked paprika ground up in my spice grinder. This was applied on day two and left for one more night. My baste was similar to yours but I added a little Franks and reduced to one half. I love the idea of a sugar coating so I used some demerara for the last half hour. Easily the best turkey I've ever tasted and the rest of the family says the same. This will be a traditional recipe for years to come. Keep doin' what you do!!
Malcom, Making this today due to some crazy circumstances. But our freezer stopped working and we had some butterball boneless turkey breasts that we never used. Thawed them out and they’re on the pit boss smoker right now
So after a Covid interrupted Thanksgiving, I did this recipe today and man it is spot on some of the best turkey I've ever had. Only change was I used Meat Church Honey Hog for the seasoning. Only complaint is I didn't have those HUGE meaty turkey breasts!
Malcom is the man!!! Love your videos brother. I have learned so much from watchin your content, and i must say I've gotten pretty dang good thanks to you.
1st off. YOu look Amazing my friend. 2nd!!! That Smoked Turkey!!! OMG. it looks so so good. I've got to get me a smoker now, and a couple of Turkey Breast, which I love. Awesome job as always. Oooowe!!! Going to look for a smoker RIGHT NOW!!!
Man you just rurnt me 😋 im gonna be dreaming about eating these babies tonight! Your an amazing cook! 👏 This is absolutely beautiful presentation as well. Omg! Stop it! I am watching this 3am in the morning hungry before bed... lord... what have I done? :) Well done Malcom - I will dig up my frozen turkey out of the freezer on the way to bed!
That really looks mouth-watering. I never thought of removing the skin when smoking a turkey breast. I guess I thought it would dry out. But the way you did this, made it crisp/crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I will be trying this and thanks for another great recipe!
Using this recipe today with the wild turkey I killed on Thursday. Except for the legs, which I plan to pressure cook. Then I'll finish off with your spices and glaze.
Malcolm, you ever try your hand at goat? My grandpa used to cook goat underground with wrapped and cooked with hot bricks for about 10 hours. Some of the best meat I've ever had in my life! I'd love to see your take on one of the less common meat like goat, rabbit, lamb etc.

That little touch of sugar to crust at the end is a great touch man!
For sure. I might do that with some Ham this weekend. Great idea.
