- The build was based around minimizing downtime between titan lives and cores, hence Warpfall and Core Accelerator. The map was chosen because the restricted enemy advance routes and no mortar titans spawned meant I only had to worry about a roughly 220° arc I had to cover around the harvester and could generally stay in the same area.

It's crazy seeing Titanfall 1 gameplay in this day and age

They've delisted it on Xbox. I wanted to go back and play the "campaign" with bots.
It should still work, it still appears for me at least. But you can always by a physical copy and play that way too! Theres also a ton of Discord servers that organize game nights on the campaign @@matro2

yup, I probably could've done better on the following life if I put some distance between me and the titan and saved the wave with another drop
I kind of miss the old art direction. The new one is great too, it's just nostalgia.
I definitely miss customizing my titan though
This art direction was incredible and it hurts so much there will never be another one
It's not just nostalgia. The art direction in TF1 is just better, it's one of those games that has an unmatched atmosphere. TF2 did away with some realism and lived-in world aesthetics to serve the arena shooter gameplay. (at the end of the scale is cartoony Apex Legends for broad appeal)

Everyone says they miss titan customization but if it was brought back today I guarantee there would be a meta titan loadout that would make combat annoying I definitely prefer tf2's titans a lot more.

I really want the first person executions on tf2. I certainly miss them from tf1 considering how much fear it would put people to be ripped from their cockpit
One of the things that stood out to me the most in TF1 was that everything was first person. Executions, entering your titan. The only thing that wasn’t was the drop in titan on spawns and that was so cool. The art style was much more gritty too.
As someone who still plays this game on Xbox360 with the most players I’ve seen worldwide having been 5, this makes me happy.
I will never understand why they removed 1st person animations. Watching a giant robot pick you up and manually place you in the cockpit only to say "manually relinquishing control to pilot" in a menacing tone will never not give me chills.
Not to mention that they basically ruined Frontier Defense. Nowhere near as difficult as it used to be.
I love this game! and still seeing people play it is crazy and it fills my heart with enjoyment. btw your doing great for a solo frontier defense!

Titanfall will always be one of the best games imo, i just wish the gamemodes and maps were added to titanfall 2 especially now that the game is coming back a bit.
Alot of the maps in tf2 are from tf1, tf1 still has the better maps though

Tell me about it, when the challenge to get 75 pilots kills with it came around for the Gen10 requirements I would only ever ADS with it to turn off tracking, outside of soloing FD I refuse to use it

I had no idea specters used to jump on top of your titan tf1, don’t know why they never did that with tf2
Because of how rodeos work in TF1, Spectres only Rodeo in Frontier Defense, and since there aren't batteries to pull out in TF1 it's a lot simpler to handle

Yup, what you wanna do is select a custom game and disable player drop in, this will cause the match start timer to trigger when you're alone

best way to do it is jst check frequently and swap your regional server to one that happens to have people on it, otherwise look it up a playthrough on TH-cam

I never played the frontier defence in TF1 so i didnt know there were infantry spectres in it, can u hack them in this frontier defence or are they just as unhackabke?
You can hack them, but they die between waves so no robot army :(

@@Halo56782 I do too, but whenever i launch it off steam it doesnt launch at all.
@@superchillguyh4x0r15 weird. My best guess is it has something to do with Origin. Both Titanfall 1 and 2 technically launch from the Origin application with steam just there to make people feel comfortable. I would say download Origin manually and see if that fixes the problem. It might take a little while so just be patient with it

Bit late but as an explanation:
Discount Ronin was just as the name implies
In case of sweet: The community is pretty small so you end up playing against a lot of the same people, Sweet was a rival of sorts who would use Stryder+40mm for hit and runs until core was up then rampaged, and the loadout was specifically to counter that
@Halo56782 ah, I was unfortunately not graced with an opportunity to play Titanfall 1 so never had the chance to enjoy it. But God I loved playing Titanfall 2, still to this day my number 1.

To start the match just go into the Play menu, find frontier defense, set up a custom match, and disable player drop ins, this will force the game to start with just you

90% players in the world spend their time in CS2 or another stupid shit. Oh man, can't find server and this game still dont have mods or pirate local servers, only EA servers. Bullshit man. This game made on Source. Engine from Half Life wich have open program code and millions mods and servers. I still can't believe. EA destroyed everything. Respawn fall in big ass. So sad for them. So sad for Titanfall fans...
