I think you you're right on the money. You can get the same number of wings for the same price at Wingstop and it's a hundred times better. The issue is I think these places are so focused on competing with one another and copying one another they don't care about quality but if xyz price their food this way why can't I? It's corporate greed, and shortcuts. Fast Food legit is becoming unappealing to me in 2023, I rather just eat and pay those prices at a mom-and-pop shop and I'll get way more food, and way better quality. I feel like these companies don't see or don't care about that. They just think cause they're a well known brand people will just pay the prices and yeah some will, but others like me are slowly going to just eat at local places instead.

its the employees. 100%. the difference in some of these new products are so drastic this is whats pushing people including myself away. the kids that work at these places dont gaf. if someone makes the food the way it’s supposed to be made, its usually good. i had the taco bell wings the other day and put them in my top 5 greatest wings. no lie. i couldnt stop talking about them. but for example, popeyes. i had the sandwich the day it came out. best fast food chicken sandwich ive ever had. never again. dry, old, cold. they’re lazy. blame the employee’s. i love trying these new fast food releases. and i’ve discovered the variation from each experience is insane. and im pretty positive its the employees working. blame the employees. cant expect a teenager making less than $15 to put all of their effort in.
@@drsully No it is not 100% the employees because some places just have better ingredients than others because look at Popeyes majority of Popeyes have employees that don’t give a fuck about their job yet people still consider popeyes one of the best fast food places out because of the quality of their ingredients and if the food tastes good and is cooked properly.

This man is speaking straight facts. I remember in 2020 the chicken chipotle melt at Taco Bell was 1 dollar and it was bigger and had more food. It’s now 1.79 and is WAY smaller and WAY less food for a higher price. Same thing with the beefy melt burrito. These are just off the top of my head, there’s way more from other places too!

I tried the wings. My belief is they are type of frozen variety of “wing zings” or “wing dings”. My local 7-11 will make them fresh in an air fryer. They are crispy, decent meat and lack flavor.
Also Taco Bell’s ground beef has 20% filler which is basically paper shavings.
Would love to hear more movie reviews, I try to watch at least a couple movies a week, movies are probably my main interests besides video games

It ain't just inflation and shrinkflation. You catch a lot of places and products just straight up using worse quality ingredients lately. Higher prices would be a bit easier to handle if the product didn't also become smaller and significantly worse.

The difference with the Crispy Melt Taco is they fry the shell fresh. Normally their corn taco shells come already made and they just warm them up in a heat cabinet that is around 200 degrees for 3 hours. But, the crispy melt taco is a shell they fry fresh. Also they add nacho cheese which is the "melt" part. I really like that shell better than their normal taco shell. But, with their sales volume it wouldn't logistically work for them to fry all their hard taco shells fresh.

The best thing at Taco Bell is the chicken chalupa with avocado ranch, or a steak quesadilla replace the sauce with avocado ranch

Unless it’s late at night and my options are Taco Bell, McDs, Checkers. I’m going to the fast casual. CFA, Chipotle, Jersey Mikes, 5 guys. My bill only ends up a few dollars more and I’m way more pleased with my experience.
CFA is actually fast food but that and Wendy’s are the only places I’ll spend my money when my options are actually open.
Knowing that there's no twist, I wonder if I will enjoy it better since I won't be looking for one? Maybe as just an intense thriller?

They water it down first of all to make the sauce more watery, so takes away flavor and just not good and now they are about $3 in Manhattan for a trig taco beef
I agree 101% high prices with the same sucky qualities vs. a mom and pop with high prices but, good quality ? No brainer
💯 These fast food joints I’ve noticed the quality is garbage. And even if your using their apps for the deals there aren’t many of those anymore either. For the prices you can just about go to a sit down local spot and get much better food. Fast food isn’t what it used to be all to keep paying the corporate bonuses.

I heard servant is good, so I might check that. Got the taco bell app the other day. Saw a good deal for 6 bucks, and it was just a bunch of slop. That's not beef family. I'm going try the steak and chicken and see what's good, but I may be done with them. In the 90e I was getting the soft tacos for like $.79.

Correct! Taco Bell has all of the ingredients (with the exception of chicken wings) to keep everything on the menu. With that being said, "I want to try the Crispy Cantina Melt" Making a run for the border! Tacos are supposed to be messy! =) And chicken chalupas w/extra chicken reign supreme!
