Great to see my old neighborhood! We camped at gull pond a lot over the years.

Spectacle pond trailhead is just down the road, a little longer approach but another good one. With views of the southside of Pharaoh mountain.

@@toddparis809 it was a tossup between gull and spectacle, the recent snow and heavier packs were why we made the call for Gull. I will absolutely be checking out Spectacle though!

Glad to see you back! Thought you went into lockdown! Looks like you two had a great time! Sad to hear about your dog but glad he's doing better!

Thank you so much! Pungo is doing great, hopefully by March he can get out with me. In the meantime I'm working on Cassi's training, and I want to get her out on some easier trails. She is a RIOT, I can't wait until she's ready for extended trips 😂

What a great campsite. You gals. I’m so jelly. I’ve got to go there soon. They just go a lot of snow.
So beautiful. Where do you park?

Looks like you both had a fun adventure. Is that twig stove the Uberleben?

@@mrgjoe they are awesome. As long as you get enough wood together before you start lol, hungry little beast! 😂 I think splitting some larger branches is best if you want to actually cook with it. Twigs work for a quick boil.

@@itsmorefunoutdoors4603 I agree it is a hungry stove. I love how sturdy it is and how large the opening is to feed it.
