The Firebirds get another win in a scrimmage against West Islip HS behind Vincent Mcdermott's first OFFICIAL start of the season post Tommy John surgery. Vincent had a solid outing giving up no hits, no runs, 6K's and 3 walks in 4 innings of work.
Thomas Marten made an appearance today in the 5th inning, giving up no runs. Nicholas Spinoso came into the game to pitch the 6th and Aidan O'Connor came in to close out the win for the Firebirds in the top of the 7th and got the save.
