I have adopted a habit of giving a tip to food delivery riders or courier guys or people like that while I always avoid beggars. I think if you want to help people then you should help these types of people who are working hard to make end meets
Very good brother, surely they will try to put more effort whenever ppl tip them, but a begger would always ask for more event you give 'em a million.
Me too. We always give those delivery guys extra tips and they feel so grateful. We tried to help some beggers by giving them pencil and diaries packets so they can could turn from haram money to halal but sad the next day they start begging. I mean we can't able to change them.

Or a person who washes my car or fix my tyre in this heat or a person adding fuel in my car! There are so much deserving people around rest Allah knows the best who is more deserving or not and may HE accepts our little help by giving money to needy ones and bless us and also we are no one to judge who is deserving or not may HE helps us with our sixth sense helping us in finding needy ones because deserving TOH bohat chezo ke Liye hum b nahe jis jis chez ke Sath nawazay gaye Hain Allah ki Taraf se itne gunnehgar hone ke bawajood ! Seriously this is a big issue in Lahore. I felt weird once I visited Islamabad, that in the span of a few hours I spent in a public square, there were no beggars in the surrounding.
U joking? this must be from decades ago. I mean it isn't that much crowded but in areas like F10 if u take a close look, each beggar is assigned a certain strip. like in a markaz which is square shapped, having 4 sides, there are like 8 beggars. And from the beginning of 2023 there has been massive surge of beggars & stuff in the shape of groups of labours sitting alongside roads & stuff.

haha bhai main abi kuch months pehle hi islamabad gya tha Main food street oppsite to tehzeeb bakery i was sitting and enjoying tea with friend around 10 - 15 beggars all holding socks begging were coming and going and made our sitting hell... and few of them starting cursing when we refuse.. So no city is safe from them...
Nah I think you're highly mistaken. There are quite ALOT of beggars here now even Islamabad and it gets really annoying when they keep on coming and annoying us when we're walking around etc.

This is so true , I visited Saudi this time and I could tell how the small kids are forced to sit by the road and beg while u can clearly tell that they are fake. Every night they would sit infront of our hotel like 3-4 kids. On fixed times. Even in the middle of the road sometimes.
And if u are a soft hearted person ur heart breaks to just walk past by them. Even their parents are sitting and begging just a few steps away from them.
Idk how the Saudi government hasn’t noticed this yet but I would suggest that if u notice similar situations so it’s better to report. And give ur money to the deserving only

I pass through Gulberg chowrangi almost 5 times a day as I live nearby. Every time the signal is closed and I have to stop, there will be one girl who will start cleaning the windscreen, or some hijra will start asking for money, or someone else will start selling flowers, and so on. It is so annoying ! I never pay, but still it is a daily nuisance.

This has personally happened with me, when I was in Saudi Arabia, in Madina I saw several Pakistani people come up to me creating a fake story and ask for money without any shame. They should be shipped to Africa XD.
