Thanks! Rissa, you are doing an amazing job! You are such an inspiration to me! This is a little something to help you out when you get into town. Stay safe and continue to enjoy your journey 🥾🥾🏕️🪵
Wonderful to see you again and happy to help out. One thing you and I have discussed is how we expect to both finish this thing. Now it is all you. Hurricane Helene is forcing my hike to end this next week. I hope to finish it later, but it might be 2026. Maybe we will cross paths again on a trail in Cloudlands or Lookout Mountain. Take care and congrats on 1600!
I talked about you to my cousin as we visited the Mashapacong shelter which is in High Point state park in NJ. You have so many of us cheering you on and this 1600 miles is amazing!!!! You rock! I could sit at that view point for hours - I’m glad you got there so early
Well, it certainly looked like a beautiful day for hiking and it appears everything worked out in the end with a really nice shelter to stay in. I just don't know if I could do that really narrow sleep pad I only now noticed you have. I roll around... a lot because I'm a side-sleeper and it seems like I have to change sides quite often, and especially the further into the night I go. I'm definitely a 25" wide pad kind of guy. Some more trail news, incase you haven't heard, the ATC has said everything from Damascus, VA south on the AT should be considered closed. There so much damage, including AT bridges that have been totally washed away, towns flooded, and hostels that have been destroyed or heavily damaged. It's devastating for the AT and will likely take years to recover. This doesn't even mention the number of trees that have to have been knocked down and blocking the trail. You're so lucky to have gotten your hike in this year, and to have been a NOBO through this section of trail. I already know the vast majority of SOBOs are not going to be able to complete their thru-hikes. It's quite sad. You on the other hand, are doing fine moseying a long and getting it knocked out. Happy hiking, Mosey!
Congratulations on 1600 miles! I’m guessing the boys will catch up, but I know you can do the Whites either way. The trail provides.Thank you chase 😊❤ taking care of our girl!
🎉 Congratulations on 1600!! Keep up the good work!! Love that God provided a little blessing for you in the middle of the woods!! He is watching over you!!!
Chase is so awesome!!!❤
Awe! Thanks.

What a lovely day! I enjoy seeing your excitement about the trail and what is to come.
You are doing amazing!

Congrats on 1600 ❤🎉 welcome to when we had to hike with just our wits and the AT Trail Guide book. Got turned around a few times ! 😊
Congrats on another milestone! I was surprised Chase ran into you again,.. what's that 3 times now?
Thanks for the Imp tour. I am hoping to do NH next summer.
If you hadn’t gone on without the boys, you might not have met the folks you did heading NOBO. Congrats on 1600! Gorgeous views.

The views were stunning today!! Great job Mosey ❤️
Ohhh those boys!!!! They'll slow you down. How great is Chase, so sweet to give you trail magic. Just do you!! Thanks for the video

Congrats on 1600, I thinkyou'll be running into Princess sooner or later, right?
1600!! Rounding up now gives 2000, so I think you are soooo close to making it. And that I cheer to, even if it means my daily video breaks will end.
Congratulations on 1600! I know you don’t want to go through the Whites alone but honestly the boys are not causing you anything but stress.
Congratulations on 1600! Seems like the guys are slowing you down way too much! While they are fun, I fear you won’t be able to finish.
Why do you keep counting on The Boys. They don’t make decisions based on you. Although I will say they saved your rear with the ankle break.
The AMC paid camp sites are worth it, especially with the Thru-Hiker discount.
And the dying part comes the next day, going up North Carter.
