Want a reason that Sarah didn’t speak up to Abraham when he passed her off as his sister? Think about how Esther became queen. What happened to the king’s previous wife? She spoke up. I think it’s important to remember how women were regarded then. They had no voice, and certainly no authority-even with their own husbands. Great sermon, but I wish Mark would acknowledge the cultural practices of the time. This is all on Abraham!!
