Hi Paolo, is the electric motor waterproof and fit for use during rainy season? Also, what was the weight of the rider they used to calculate the max range?
J Kahlil Panopio thanks for tuning in 😉👍🏽 all good questions, i’ll answer what i can. Ive used the scoot, rain or shine with no problems, i have to admit i havent driven through a flood, but id be comfortable riding through ankle deep water with no concerns. As for weight, im about 160 lbs and i do get close to the claimed 80 km range. Riding style i think plays just as big a part on range as weight (are you smooth on the throttle, or are you hard on stops/starts) Riding it in the zippier sport mode definitely shortens your range too. The I generally try to be smooth and flick between smart and sport depending on the road conditions. I mostly cruise in smart mode but riding through big ger main streets where the traffic flow is fast definitely requires sport mode so that you keep up with the traffic pace, which means a shorter range per charge. Its certainly not a “fast scooter” but overall, for city mobility, i have no complaints.
@@PAbrera1 , thanks for the very detailed response. It's good to know that it's resistant to rain. It helps a lot in the decision making process. I have another question, have you tried the scooter with a passenger on-board? If so, how did it impact the performance of the vehicle?
Retro Amateur right?! I will admit, this feels like an 80cc scooter, so i wouldnt mind a bit more oomph (and there is a more powerful E2R , btw). But piaggio will soon have electric vespas as well, thats where its all goin 😉
We got this in Sweden too 64V 28ah battery and 47km/h limited. I consider one. Do you still own it and how is it doing? thank you, regards from Sweden :)
Hope there’s a long term review of this and its cost savings
It looks promising. This might be the first vehicle I'll own. Just gotta learn how to ride
Julius Comeda i love my gas-powered bikes but theyre a dying breed. Us petrol heads will have to embrace the future: electric

Quite an old video. Yes, it still serves me well. The battery went in for service after about 2 yrs. But other than that no complaints.
@@PAbrera1 Thank you for your quick response!

Alderson Napolitano looking forward to testing one 😉
E2: 2500W, 64V 20Ah
EV: 3200W, 50V 13Ah
with EV's motor power, say goodbye to your 13Ah quick!
i'd still go for ECOOTER E2.
I'd still prefer Niu Manila and Super Soco Philippines over this overpriced Ecooter...
