I’m going through my Saturn return this year, and I recently lost my childhood pet who was my father’s recovery dog and I lost my uncle to his battle with addiction a week before. I feel it’s a shedding of childhood traumas and at the same time, shedding those things that helped me heal that trauma. Letting go of the “positives” and “negatives” to move into this new stage of my adulthood and spirituality
Tough times, but I'm impressed by the clarity and wisdom you are drawing from that. Where is you natal Saturn and which houses does he rule? Wishing you all the best.
@@Applepie910 thank you :) my Saturn is in Pisces in my seventh house, my Saturn sextiles my Neptune in Capricorn in my fifth house which also conjucts my mercury in Capricorn. I’m an Aquarius sun, Scorpio moon, and Virgo rising. A lot to work with, many outer planets in Capricorn or Aquarius as well hahaha. I’m a new astrology student so I hope that gives some insight
You’ll get through this life stage and look back on it with a level of self esteem. It’s painful. But, it’s also powerfully cathartic. Peoples 30’s are supremely empowering for those of us who succeed our Saturn Return.
@@JuliannaC108 Aquarius Saturn in 3rd House here and wow have I been having a lot of inner shifts, introverting, rethinking relationships, etc. Especially as Pluto has been squaring my natal Libra Moon and Venus off and on and Saturn was squaring natal Scorpio Pluto. Here's to hoping all these changes have made room for growth that is fulfilling, a bit more gentle, and helps push us where we want/need to be 💜💙
#Grabbed on the early morning hours of Feb. 4th, 2023, a FedEx pilot saved everyone at the airport in Austin Texas from imminent disaster. Air traffic control had cleared SWA to depart, but SWA pilot took too long to taxi the runway, and air traffic control told FedEx to land. There was almost no visibility, so FedEx pilot basically told SWA pilot that they were 73' from each other at that point. SWA pilot decided in an instant to not take off and FedEx decided not to land, separating them about 200' before they both cleared well out of each other's way and no doubt saved many lives aboard both aircraft. It really did not make the news, and the FedEx pilot did not get the honorable mention that they so richly deserved.
my saturn return will be starting this march. cool to hear all this stuff about music in the 90s. my identification with that music was so strong. i was obsessed with kurt cobain as a kid, read every biography and dressed just like him even though I was a girl. actually thought I was his reincarnation when i was a teenager, because my birthday was 9 months after his death. have a strong feeling my saturn return will pertain to music as i am a musician and recently started my own record label.
Something I think of with Saturn in pisces is "subtle fear". Something that's fearful but you can't quite pinpoint how or why. I say this because its something about the last time Saturn was in Pisces in the 1990's, that scared me. I'm very sensitive and its something about the sound of music, the look of the movies and TV shows that scare me or made me feel unease. Even to this day if I listen to certain music from that time it gives me the creeps and I just can't understand why and its so hard to explain!🥴
Omg this is so helpful, it was my First Saturn return in the 90s it was brutal. My baby died then I miscarried then my husband started an affair ….etc there was more! I discovered fear and have found it really hard to shake off. I entered my second Saturn return terrified I’m a year into it now and my youngest son has just left home. Leaving me alone which is really not what I want. So I’m thinking it is about the loss of children …❤
Thank you! Back in the 90s I was not aware of astrology the way I am now. So much of what you said, especially Yin sensibilities, really hit home because that is exactly what I did with my Mom who was more masculine than feminine. Because of the dynamic, and volatility (overly critical, control, ect) I decided to never be like her. Therefore, cutting off my own masculine, my own Venus Virgo, and becoming the overly sensitive one that became super nice to everyone. Even refusing to see the red flags from other people in order to make sure, "nobody experienced" what I did.
Saturn in Pisces native here 🖖🏻 These themes to watch out for really helped me understand this placement in my chart. For all my life, I’ve been pulled in “extreme opposite” mental spaces. It’s definitely lead me to make brash decisions when it comes to relationships and resources specifically. I still struggle with psychological polarization because my chart ruler is also Saturn 😅 But knowing the sneaky ways of Saturn brings me some amount of peace. Appreciate your wisdom and transparency always 💜
Great food for thought, Adam. Thanks, as always. For anyone interested in going deeper into the ideas about dualism that Adam talked about in his prologue, I'd highly recommend Iain McGilchrist's lecture at Ralston College entitled, "The Coincidence of Opposites." It's available here on TH-cam.
Already had to sever an unhealthy friendship, which had been rocky for over a decade and I was being too compassionate, enabling and loyal, I feel like Saturn has helped me out here. I could suddenly see clearly how I simply had to stick to my boundaries, not interact, no drama and just put an end to it in a nonviolent way. Such a relief (pisces 11H)
Fascinating interpretation Adam. I've never heard Saturn in Pisces explained that way, but It does resonante with some of my experiences in the 90s the last time the planet was there. I would think Neptune and Jupiters' placements as rulers could also colour the transit this time.
I am 28 and the second I turned 26, everyone I loved started to drop off. All my childhood pets, 2 dogs, 2 cats and pets I’ve watched after. Grandpa on mom side, My first ex boyfriend killed himself (we weren’t in each others lives), grandma on dad side, my best friend Devin… I am now 28 and this all taking place within covid times has absolutely made me a different person.
even if I wasn't into astrology and constantly learning so much from you this channel is such a valuable and thought provoking daily resource, thank you for putting this out into the world Adam
smashing pumpkins was a good drop. that album was incredible. as a black kid growing up in a super racist town in mississippi, imagine walking around singing songs from this album and the looks that i got from white kids 😂. Same with Weezer. This was all when i started writing as well. funny that my music edges on the same sentiments although its not anywhere close to the same genres.

Thank you Adam, I will be going through my second Saturn return when this happens, I can already see the repeat of themes happening in my life. It started a couple of years before the actual conjunction happened then and again now. I got into learning more about different philosophies, astrology, tarot, and the occult, interests I had from my youth. An ex boyfriend (not a lover) reconnected only to disappear again. My sun is on his ascendant opposite his moon and Saturn conjunction in Aquarius (obviously I'm a Leo Sun that is in opposition to my own Saturn and his conjunction) I'm guessing that is why he showed about around the same time again. Last time other peoples needs and life events took me in a different direction from my desired one of learning more about astrology and the alternative or esoteric arts. I am hoping that will not be the case this time as I am more aware of the astrological events and working on having circumstances set up to continue with my current source of income to support my desired path of learning in the aforementioned direction during the actual Saturn return. As for the ex, well he has disappeared again. Ce la vie
Hello Adam, I'm enjoying your channel very much. I think that what you said about disgruntlement and the risk of becoming fanatic about mysticism etc (point 3 and 4) could well be a reaction to the increasing and dominating technocracy - like AI governing the world, the possibility to surveil every move of everyone, and on the other side the ongoing disregard and destruction of nature - also of natural medicine. Just lately I saw a headline, where it was considered to criminalize fortune telling, and there was a book that downplayed the relevance of intuition. Saturn may be just in the right place to neutralize these other aspects that drive such developments and thus provide more balance. Technocracy dominating everything may be one of the early effects of the aquarian age. According to Gnosticism humanity needs time to grow into each aeon. Comparable to have a driving license, but yet no routine and secure drivers' skills.
omg, one of the things I had to confront halfway thru last year was in defining my pleasure principles and among those including the need to differentiate intimacy, physicality, and romance 😩
I'm with you on the negative "only" astrologer disposition re Pisces. But that might be because it is not an easy sign to understand. We (me: Pisces moon) are so very all encompassing.
as an all right-arrow stellium pisces in nearly every area I GAFAWED when the first one was romanticism. that word was definitely echoing off the mental walls the whole time u were preluding this shift... also the artistic reveries makes a TON of sense for the next 4 years given everything going on. theres gonna be a natural time period for everyone to be pissed off and purging the harsh realities/lies they come to realize. hopefully art will at least help us express this! but itll be expectedly intense
Saturn is going to enter my 12H and I’m definitely not trying to live in fear, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little bit anxious, but I also know I must welcome Saturn with open arms and surrender to the lessons/experiences of this cycle. Here we go🫠
I don't generally enjoy saturn. I know he serves his purpose, but he's not my favorite. I gotta say, I enjoy how he is described in this transit, overall :)
Billy Corgan as the face of Saturn in Pisces is perfect! My moon is in Pisces in my 7th house, and I have some trepidation about this transit especially with Venus already debilitated in my Virgo placements.
I've been thinking about Saturn in Pisces in regard to psychedelic spaces as well. It makes me wonder about there being possibly more regulations around the use of legal therapeutic psychedelics as well as potential push back from people that have been providing psychedelic healing in a more ceremonial way that are not ok with this medicine being used in a clinical setting (i.e. taking away the "true spirit" of the medicine). I also wonder if more newly minted "shamans" (aka, "I took mushrooms a few times and now I'm a certified wounded healer that can charge hundreds of dollars to be your sitter because I've ascended to warlock level 10") will be called out by more seasoned people that have been working with these medicines for years.
Fascinating stuff! The significations around 'feigned appearances' sounds like Neptune... how much did modernist astrologers borrow from traditional Saturn meanings to build the Neptunian archetype, I wonder?
Natal Venus in Pisces in the 7th along with Neptune transiting my 7th soo no grasp of reality when it comes to partnerships… hoping Saturn helps w this over the next 2.5 years :)
