I know that it's got to be tough to coordinate these collabs for the Clickbaiter's channel, but they are gold!! No better true honest content than just friends doing what they love! Keep it up guys!
With a drawstring net I like to give the lead rope a bit of a "POP" when I begin to retrieve it. This lets the net begin to close as soon as it moves. I'm not sure if it helps to increase my catch or not, but it seems to help so I keep doing it lol. Throwing a net in my area could see you catching whiting, bream (porgy), flathead (platycephalus not a catfish - sort of like a stretched out flounder), mangrove snapper, mullet, herring, garfish (ballyhoo), prawns by the bucket (shrimp) and a bunch of other good eating species. If I was nearby I'd be shopping in the "crap corner" by default lol. Congrats BBB on your first cast net fish!
Great video guys! Practice makes perfect Matt! You caught some tho!!! Fried Fish tails are great! Reminds me of eating fry hard bream when I was a kid. Always enjoy content from you fellas! Keep up the great work!
Goodshit you guys I can't wait for this year I will be ordering from your shop I've been with you guys for about 3 years now I appreciate everyone of you individually and as a group but I'm kind of sad not to see cameraman Ron there I'm sure he'll be there in a Future No Doubt
Great video guy's and don't give up Beach Bum I'm still learning myself on throwing a cast net. Congratulations on your catch in the net BB at least you got 2. Tight lines to you all 🎣🎣
Great video. My favorite is when Brad said he was not gonna eat it and baby girl said I AM. Lol that was great. And the dude chasing that so called gizzard with a banana. That was great too.
I need to bring my son down to meet Beach Bum when he visits. Matt won't be the shortest guy in the room then and they are both musicians so would probably get along great... Love you guys! Can't wait to see what y 'all do next.
Beach Bum, You did better than my first throw! One little piece of advice, it doesn't matter what the throw looks like, as long as you catch some fish!! and you did!! Great video guys. I seen y'all at the Warehouse yesterday, and it took all I could do not to stop!! keep up the good work guys..
I think it would be good to put a brief description of “how to” use different fishing products in your videos just as you showed Matthew “ Bama Beach Bum” using the cast net in more of your videos. Look forward to your tackle store opening!
Lived on Perdido Bay most of my life and there was nothing better than throwing the net, getting mullet, leaning and into the grease while they are still flipping. Mullet backbones and tails are truly great! I waded with a 10 ft heavy hung chain net and could throw it in almost chest deep water. I about messed the waters up down in Niceville when I was in pretty deep ready to cast and a huge tarpon jumped right in front of me!
Beach Bums first throw was awesome!!! I also love how the bearded one said we didn’t grow up eating Mullet!! Seeing that I grew up in North Carolina and if you were close enough to eat mullet all the time in Tennessee I wouldn’t be here!
I used to catch huge hauls of 12 to 14 inch mullet off edisto beach back in the late 80's before so many fishing boats came from the north and destroyed the bait fishery. We never did try to eat them though as we saw them to be inferior to other fishes. Now yall have got me wanting to try some mullet.
Great to see Beach Bum at least trying to throw a cast net. It does takes a little practice to get it prefect but that never seems to happen when you really need it to open! lol I have caught tons of mullet off of Fairhope peir many years ago but I haven't threw a net in several years myself. Keep up the fun and entertaining videos!!!
Here in the Mississippi Delta, we didn't have mullet. But my mom loved eating the tails and crispy bones of the bream and crappie we would catch and cook. She passed a little over two years ago, but she would love to be out there with you guys.
It may or may not be important ! But I said a few years ago, ya'll as a team will blow up the Emerald Coast of Florida as a TH-cam Channel! Omgeezy, it came true! Love it! Ya'll are blessed.. look it up?
Living in Florida for 17 years with untold numbers of mullet caught,, but never ate one until moving to NC! For those that have never tried mullet, but now want to,, most important thing is to deep fry it longer than most any other type of fish! You have to cook all the oils out of the meat for it to be good. Also, mullet caught out of the ocean (after they've been out there for a couple days) is better tasting. The saltwater cleans them out after having been in brackish water.
Grew up eating mullet like Brant..Even when my grandma had a roast or something else cooked, there was always a plate of fresh, fried mullet on the table. Gramps had a certain place to catch the ones we ate... We'd also catch a lot of mullet around the seafood factories, but would never eat those, they were only for crab bait.
I have amazing Florida cracker friends from Apalachicola they made sure I was introduced to fried mullet and the tales are awesome but you have to have cheese grits love y'all's content
BIG Mullet sein yards in the Big Bend in the early days. Nets were pulled in by an old Model T engine on a sled at Spring Creek. Thousand pound pulls were common. Smoked Mullet is Florida jerky. In the '60s, the name 'Mullet' was thought to be bad, so somebody changed it to 'Lisa' and it was sold canned for a while. The defense claim in court in Wakulla county for illegal mullet fishing was that the law was wrong: Mullet is a BIRD because the rays in the scales look like feathers and they have a gizzard. Being a jury of his peers (mullet fishermen), he was acquitted.
Throwing a Cast Net is an ART! ... Not easy to learn! How about a"How To" Video??? Especially the "TEETH" Brant technique. It Worked! FRIED MULLET TAIL, seasoned right... The best Potato Chip you ever ate! Guaranteed!
Brad, are you tellin' me you never ate bluegill chips up in Tennessee? Come on, you know all us hillbillies have had bluegill chips. Mullet backbones must be the Florida Man analog of bluegill chips.
We all start somewhere 😂 it took me about a month to get mine decent in a somewhat circle shape 🤦🏼♂️ my first times it was twisting up flipping over itself. Beach Bum learned quick!
It's really great that y'all taught your son to throw a cast net!
The 3 stooges got nothing on you guys when you are ripping the funnies.
Love the camaraderie! Congrats Bama on your first cast net catch and the purchase of the tackle shop!! Looking forward to seeing this grow!
Man that’s a feast.. great job guys .. can’t wait for your grand opening I’ll be there for sure..👌👌👍🏽👍🏽
Fresh fried mullet is really good. Of course the crunchy tails. Keep practicing Matt with the cast net. Enjoyed!
I know that it's got to be tough to coordinate these collabs for the Clickbaiter's channel, but they are gold!! No better true honest content than just friends doing what they love! Keep it up guys!
Great video guys! Hard to believe that Brad never had mullet before with all the odd fish that he’s had on his channel. Great toss Bama!
So fun watching The Big Brother little brother teaching moments LOL great video guys happy laughing the whole time👍👍

Used to love Reggie's in Milton years ago. AYCE backbones. 😍

Good to see Ron back in the videos, lol.
Smoked mullet spread is a Florida cracker classic. Definitely my favorite way to eat them.
It's good to see you guys filming together again.
that is facts
I love catching and eating mullet! Beachbum, academy should have some kid sized castnets that’ll be your size! 😂
Lived on Perdido Bay most of my life and there was nothing better than throwing the net, getting mullet, leaning and into the grease while they are still flipping. Seriously guy's, you need to do more clickbaiterz videos. This is hilarious! 😂😂😂
Beach Bums first throw was awesome!!! I also love how the bearded one said we didn’t grow up eating Mullet!! Seeing that I grew up in North Carolina and if you were close enough to eat mullet all the time in Tennessee I wouldn’t be here!

Love the fried mullet backbone, no hushpuppies, man you got to have hushpuppies.
Awesome video gentlemen
Can’t wait to come check out the store in June!
First rate, fun entertainment guys 😊
Matt the cast net is a little hard for us hight challenged people. I think you did great. And fried mullet tail awesome
For a tackle store y’all need to call it the “Crappie Tackle Corner”
You all are freaking awesome
This was so good, awesome video

Had to click when I saw the preview of that net throw 🤣
Did y'all cut the gizzards and a half and clean out the sand
I miss the old days of gill netting mullet and having huge friends and family fish fries…
I saw all y’all at the warehouse I was scared to stop by 😅😮
Great to see Beach Bum at least trying to throw a cast net. Yessir, we eat fried mullet n backbones here in Milton, FL. I will pass on the gizzards though. Nice catch n cook, fellas!
Ooooooo! Cm Ron gonna be mad u went to publix and didn't grab some wings lol.
You guys need to get Darcizzle to show how to use a cast net properly.
Best grin of the day. Fun video...
They cleaned up you're boat Brad, ypu should have done a before and after pic
😂😂 Thanks, guys!
So many innuendos in this video lol!
We used to have walleye fish fry up north after a day of ice fishing. Much different fishing, but the feast afterwards 😮………
I love mullet it very good you guys are great team
Here in the Mississippi Delta, we didn't have mullet. But my mom loved eating the tails and crispy bones of the bream and crappie we would catch and cook. She passed a little over two years ago, but she would love to be out there with you guys.
I love Fish Tales
It may or may not be important ! But I said a few years ago, ya'll as a team will blow up the Emerald Coast of Florida as a TH-cam Channel! Omgeezy, it came true! Love it! Ya'll are blessed.. look it up?
Y’all leave the BumMeister alone. Fried Mullet is great when it’s FRESH, tails and all. (Including eggs). It doesn’t age well. Great vid guys.
Gizzards, roe, filets, tails, backbones.....p4p, is there anything better than mullet?
Love the Crap Corner idea lol
The Photoshop work getting good
Mullet tail is amazing! Always ate it in cedar key
Living in Florida for 17 years with untold numbers of mullet caught,, but never ate one until moving to NC!

Fried fish tails, is like icing on a cake!
Great video!
I've always wanted to try mullet, but here in Tx it's kinda fround on but iam definitely gonna try it.
Terrible net to learn with 😂 but good to learn regardless
Are you going to eat the tree you caught? Lots of fiber.
Perdido Blaine is a nice addition!!!
you freaking nuts!... hilarious...
Best part of the fish is the tail. Especially bream tails. Have eaten bream all my life.
I have amazing Florida cracker friends from Apalachicola they made sure I was introduced to fried mullet and the tales are awesome but you have to have cheese grits love y'all's content
And the best mullet are the silverback that come out of the gulf as they enter the bays!!!

Good job Beach bum. Another great video guys I love the Clickbaiterz videos. Y'all keep up the great work.
Exciting times ahead!
Brad it can be muddy tasting. I'm with ya. I can do without it, but I will eat it fresh.
We used to fight over the backbones and the gizzards
Throwing a Cast Net is an ART! ... Not easy to learn! How about a"How To" Video??? Especially the "TEETH" Brant technique. It Worked! FRIED MULLET TAIL, seasoned right... The best Potato Chip you ever ate! Guaranteed!
Good video.
Maybe it's a Milton thang I grew up on mullet we ate mullet 2 or 3 days a week its just as good as any other fish as long as its fresh
Just curious what is the legal size when u catch a tree 😂😂😂
Never had Mullet tails but have from Bream and LMB excellent.
When yall want to really get down on some mullet..lmk.. Been throwing cast net all my life. Trying to put together a good bay bayou boat.
Good job Beach Bum! 🐟
Brad, are you tellin' me you never ate bluegill chips up in Tennessee? Come on, you know all us hillbillies have had bluegill chips. Mullet backbones must be the Florida Man analog of bluegill chips.
