    Courtney is a fun addition to the crew. Maybe all the wives should join once in a while. I'm loving the south Florida stuff.
    Next week I'm going to Costa Rica and plan to fish for rainbow bass (cousins of peacock bass) by Arenal, a live volcano. Then to the beach for snook, snapper and rooster fish. If the fishin' is good I'll film and start a channel.

    Yes; that sounded like a cougar - lived in Naples near the swamp buggy grounds on Rattlesnake Hammock in the 70s when it still bordered on the Everglades habitat and there were cougars in that territory - now you need to get further across Alligator Alley to experience the full range of wildlife

    I'm a Naples local and during highschool in the 80s I had a exchange student friend from Colombia,,, We all loved to fish and that's what we did all the time ,,He used to tell us about the Peacock Bass in Colombia /.Amazon and how awesome they are !! Now we have them here in all of SoFla on both coasts it's crazy !!! Back then we caught the usual freshwater fish plus snook n tarpon are mixed in at some spots but now we have tons of invasive fish In our SoFla waters !!! Some are not so good but the Peacocks are awesome!!!

  • @crazydragon4277

    Those were baby walking catfish. Very invasive.

  • @jackbelk8527
    @jackbelk8527 ปีที่แล้ว

    I was surprised more by the mountains in the background.
    Florida panthers make a small squeak more like a bird than a cat. The 'breeding scream' is a night thing. I've seen lots of tracks in Fla. but never a panther. They do like to follow and leave their tracks in yours which is disconcerting near dark.

    • @indiana091
      @indiana091 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's because the mountains in the background were in Africa. The only mountains in Florida are found on a can of Coors.

    While deer hunting N of Everglades City, managed to harvest a nice, fat doe, and the cattle rancher whose ranch I was hunting on had a nice loading pen and ramp right by the gate where I could hoist her rear end up and tie it off before I dressed her out with all the entrails dropping below clean away from the body. When I went to check in, I realized I had forgotten my knife and went back to the loading pen. Imagine how scary it is when you find your knife, but there is no sign of any of the guts you just left there from field dressing a deer. It was earie. When I went back to check in, I told the 2 brothers that hunted there about it and they laughed, they told me they had video of a huge female Florida panther that lived in the thick brush within 20 yards that had scared the BEGEEZOUS!!! out of them when they were putting up their cameras. She had watched me clean the deer, then watched me leave and then took every bit of the entrails back into her hidey hole in the brush, and she carried most of it, as there was very little blood trail or drag marks. And I had the largest deer of the day. Fun times in S Fla Everglades, always had an ultra light in the truck ready.

    Really enjoy all 3 individual channels, angler, bum and brad, not subscribed to clickbaiterz, not sure what to think of all the new changes coming up. I think it’s awesome you all bought a bait and tackle shop, and the podcast station there! Great idea, hope/know you all will do very well, but concerned about the content coming out, don’t like the group reposting the same video but with different cameras, very redundant, not engaging at all. With that said best of luck to you all on your venture, I know your store is going to be sweet, have to check it out someday, and hope you guys can still put out unique content of your own

    • @BamaBeachBum
      @BamaBeachBum ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the support! We have made great efforts to actually not post redundant content for a while now. Anytime you see us filming together, we are only creating one video for one channel. We made 4 separate videos from this trip with zero overlapping content. So worry not! We will continue making unique content!
