A dare was made... yeah, that was gross to see my friend do. Honestly, i have quite a few fun memories from that park. They also had one of those spinning rides that the floor drops out, with a viewing area above. Got to see one guy barf when it was at full speed from above, and it kinda just spread around at head level into other nearby people behind him in the rotation. Gross as heck, but absolutely hilarious to 10 yr old me. 😂

Originally it was that way round because brooms were used as improvised distaff by poorer women, and the distaff was used in some forms of ritual and such in pre-christian Europe. (It's also where we get magic wands from, look at what a Norse distaff looks like)
