CBS did a horrible job covering these Olympics. I remember wishing that ABC still had the broadcasting rights.

Interesting, I didn't know there was so much bad blood between Klimova/Ponomarenko and Natalia Dubova.

at the very end yes, it was quite bad between them. It's kind of sad though.........

@@MsRumex I'm guessing they made amends though because a few years later, they worked together to make their golden waltz OSP into a compulsory dance. I wonder who reached out to who to make amends.

@@gk891 That was the 1987 OSP in Cincinatti. This is 1992 Albertville Olympics!

@@tuxtommy69 They performed that OSP in 1987. But it became a compulsory dance in 1995 or 1996 which is what I was referring to.

@@gk891 Okay, I get it now! After Albertville they apparently "made amends" and worked together to get that OSP from '87 turned into a Compulsory Dance. Good decision on part of the ISU as that Golden Waltz was the BEST OSP ever and made for a very difficult but great CD for judging the dance competitors capabilities.

j ai trouve KP plutot ridicules en expression trop exageree mais tres bons techniquement. j ai trouve les francais assez insipides et mous. en fait le meilleur compromis technique artistique pour moi etait uzova zhulin

U&Z's dance was sorely lacking in content. Not one of the better ODs from my personal perspective. Their Blues and Rhumba ODs were much better. I actually had both Grishuk & Platov and Moniotte & Lavanchy ranked ahead of them in the Polka OD.
