I live in an apartment. My strategy is to say hello when you pass in the corridors, but to keep moving. Don't shit where you eat. And don't get too close with neighbors. Every time in the past that I tried that, I ended up in some kind of drama. Mostly it was mooching, like wanting my internet password or wanting to borrow everything in my apartment. It just gets messy.
Doesn't always work being nice or just ignoring people. Had. Psychotic neighbor who did some pretty shady illegal stuff but because she always played the crazy card, she got away with it. Glad when I moved.
Yes,my daughter tried to talk me into moving from my house to an apartment. I said no way,I'm not living in a cement box with no garden. Also as you said, everyone wants to borrow something or do something to you.😂

True. But the old man, I would have to know the whole story. The guy was older and overweight and the girl is like ugh I'm alone he can do anything he wants to me. Nah, maybe she was being loud too. She didn't seem afraid to me of the elderly man. Doesn't make him right, but I don't think he just started messing with her out of nowhere. It's absurd. It does happen, but noone is going to manipulate me. Only a fools believes a story he hasn't heard.
For the car that keeps getting nails. You can install cameras on your vehicle. On the bright side they are great for car accidents too. Hope this helps someone.
putting a camera is a great idea as well. Because if she does catch him then she has proof and can bring it to the police and take him to court and make him pay for new tires.
As long as your neighborhood doesn’t have rental properties you will more than likely be fine in most states/cities/towns. Homeowners tend to be more responsible and want to be decent neighbors since they gotta live near the people on their block for many years.
When I show my clients homes I make sure we stand outside for a WHILE before or after as we discuss things so that I can pick up on our surroundings. I look for neighbors outside, noise, any interaction with neighbors and make sure I have a few questions to ask neighbors in case anyone is outside so that I can see how they might react or get along with my clients because I have a good knack for getting people to open up to me and be comfortable immediately and feeling like we're long time friends. If they are standoffish, scowling, very short with us, or just not welcoming I point that out especially if they are close neighbors I take note of it all
These are prime examples of why I love living in the country. The only neighbors I have are a quarter of a mile away and they're only there on the weekends. I lived in an apartment for 3 years and it was nothing but drama. This video makes me appreciate my house so much more. It may not be fancy but at least it's peaceful. ❤
Literally want to buy a cabin house in the mountains haha I’m really close to the mountains but I’m broke at currently and hubby and I are working on that dream haha I have ADHD and anxiety and other stuff haha so being away from people and drama would be just beautiful 🙈
Same for me until recently haven't had a neighbor in 141314 years but thanks to the Democrats and all the freaks fully in the Florida I just lost about a hundred acres of woods on my property line and they put in 13 cookie cutter houses so I'm going to have neighbors I would say in about 5-6 months and I am not happy at all my only saving grace is I'm a corner lot with Woods all the way around me land taxes went up Winnie the Democrats to hell out of office is what we need it would be nice at the south of secede so sick of this I live in a little town between Alabama and Pensacola Flora-Bama and they're just invading us no migrant so far thank God just people that ruin their own States

Some of them are super petty. The woman who went around telling on ALL her neighbours who parked outside is really petty and taking her 'revenge' out on innocent people. Plus, I can sort of get why if you have a driveway where you are supposed to park, then just park there! Plus not sure how safe it is to have a trampoline on concrete instead of grass.. And the other woman who tried to make her neighbour jealous...? And the neighbour who doubles down on the Christmas decorations?! Never get close to neighbors. Especially in apartments lol I learned alone time ago. They will always be wanting something or show up whenever. I chit chat while I’m walking my dog sometimes with the neighbors if they are out with their dog and little stuff like that. I’m not inviting anyone to my home. It always ends up in drama even when it has nothing to do with you at all. Some people say I’m not nice because of this but I’m nice I’m just not letting people take advantage of me and I learned the hard way along time ago that neighbors and co workers are rarely turn into real friendships that are healthy.
My neighbor got in a fight with her husband and he pulled out a gun to scare her and she ran out, left her son inside, and called the cops. He took off and is on the run probably heading to Mexico and she’s now alone and scared he might come back and is possibly moving to another unit in the community complex and she asked to borrow my scissors, never got them back even tho I told her just place it next to the A/C over my fence or txt me I’ll get them and most recently she couldn’t figure out her tv issue so she asked if my husband can come over and fix it. Umm ma’am no you can’t borrow my husband, he doesn’t even talk to you like ever how awkward and he’s not tech savvy. He’s a hunting/nature/ plant guy, I’m more tech savvy. Just bcuz he’s tall and manly with a sweet beard doesn’t mean he knows everything and will just come on o Ed after a long ass day at work. You have a teenage son, you have google, TH-cam or idk call your cable company and have them look at it. I would do all of that first before asking someone’s husband, whom I never speak to at all, to come over and fix my stuff after he just gets off of work haha
I never understand people who park in other residents’s assigned parking spot. Then get angry when they get called out. People were notorious for doing that to me when the house that I lived in was first house on the street. I would get back from work and have to park on the street and not in my OWN driveway I paid mortgage on. I used to come out and knock on my neighbors door, or wait and asked the person not to do it. But they never listened. One outrageous person parked in there once and got into a screaming match with me can you imagine? The next time it happened, I just called the towing company and just relaxed at home. The person came to knock on my door, I yelled through the door that I would call the cops if they didn’t gtfo my property. The audacity of People. I’ve since moved to another home since I got married but still.

I've had problem neighbors almost every place where I've lived. Dogs that shite in my yard; the neighbor swore it wasn't their dog and wouldn't pick it up. (We had no dog; neither did any of the other neighbors, and we would catch the dog doing its business right in front of us) Next: problem with kids. Now, I've raised 4 kids and I know kids will be kids. But we had kids trespassing in our yard, stomping in the flower beds, kicking balls into our house and car, etc. etc. Kids do stupid things because, well, they're kids! One kid dropped his trousers at me to 'moon' me, exposing himself. The kids egged our house because my husband shouted at them one time (he's so mild-mannered that he almost never raises his voice.) I should note that people's yards/gardens are small -- basically, postage-stamp sized. There's a park for kids to play at 25 yards away... So we talk to the parents and world war III starts. First, they deny that their kids are doing anything wrong. One neighbor, Conner, blasts his TV so loud that he can't hear his kids because he doesn't want to hear them. Never plays with them. Neither does his wife. They had a dog which stayed outside 24/7 that they completely ignored. Someone (not us) turned them in to the council or an animal rights org. I would hear the dog at night crying and whining because he was so arthritic that he was in pain constantly.It made me want to cry. It was a blessing when he eventually died and was put out of his misery. Now, it's uncomfortable to live here. I'm so sick of entitled people.

I was always careful not to impose myself or otherwise negatively impact my neighbors, but I wasn't afforded the same courtesy. Luckily, the other neighbors were nice.
For the trash can one, I feel like they could have told her to ask next time and move on. Sometimes, it's easier to be nice and remind people to actually think and give them the opportunity to do the right thing. These people know where you live after all.

Then why didn't she just leave a note on his car introducing herself and stating what she did on the video, like she understands that if the apartment was empty for a while there would be an empty parking space. Instead, she contacted the manager, no one talks to each other anymore, that's the problem.
A lot of people sold their homes in the last few years and now my neighborhood has a few rental properties and they are all closer to my house lol one right beside. So far everyone that has lived in them has been good. I hope it stays that way. One even put flyers in our mailboxes letting us know about a party they were going to have and it may be a little noisy and all that. I thought that was very thoughtful and I enjoyed hearing the music as it was right next door and they were playing live reggae music. Got to hear a couple of my favorite songs lol it was quiet by 10. I would have loved hearing the music all night lol

Right and I don't know any neighborhood that doesn't let cars park in the road for certain hours during the day. Look up your city ordinances . Some areas even let you park over night, but tell you what side of the road for certain nights. It's not like the neighborhood was million dollar homes.
My neighbour was new to the block and tried to control the people who lived here. She tried it with me I put her in her place and I recently found out she's not been paying her rent since she moved here and owing the landlord thousand of pounds on rent. I stay far away from them and don't talk to them. People like that have things to hide. I mind my own business and my life is drama free and am happy meanwhile some people are miserable with their lives everyday.

There's a reason why I want to buy a rural property. These cities and suburbs are going to become very dangerous. Some humans have no business which eventually leads them to your business or personal property. Install motion sensitive cameras and keep a journal of what's going on if you're being harassed.
Thank God I live in the South!!! For the most part, we are all courteous of our neighbor's privacy, and we pride ourselves on not being intrusive. We appreciate other people's privacy. And we ALWAYS, ALWAYS have manners and proper etiquette!!!!!
Agreed. Just because the noise ordinance starts at 11 doesn't mean anything. He literally could've just apologized and said he would try to reduce the noise but it was a birthday party. I'd be upset too if I had small kids trying to sleep and my neighbors were being loud in the middle of the night and when I tried to be reasonable they were rude to me. I get it's not their problem and people with kids shouldn't make it everyone else's problem, but that doesn't mean he has to be a jerk about it.

That in itself is annoying but trying to have a calm polite exchange about it, I found, it made things worse. 🙄 I will never live in an apartment complex again. To the girl getting nails in your tires, you can set up your own cameras. I've lived in apartments and I've parked my cars where I can put a camera right on my vehicle. If its in your apartment no one can move it and the parking lot is everyones open space in the property. I call the office to make sure I can do this also. Expect people calling the cops on you for a few weeks when they notice you are recording the parking lot.

I'm very fortunate my neighbors are good. One of mine just had a party and came to me b4 hand to let me know and invited me to attend. She has been living next to me for 3 years and this is the first time she had an event at her house. It was fine and not an issue. Thank goodness. I can however assure you I've had my share of crazy neighbors, and I truly do not understand why people just cannot be considerate of others. 🙄🤨

I live with my mother in a twin house so there’s basically just a thin wall between us and our next door neighbor. She’s lived on the other side for most of my life. She has been awful. She snores so loudly you can hear her through the walls and it interrupts our sleep, she will often have people over and they’ll be up talking loudly at 3am, she hates my mom and her garden and has cut and destroyed some of my mom’s plants without permission, she worked for my father’s lawyer and got him that lawyer for my parents’ divorce and she would spy on my mother and I and tell my father and his lawyer in order to use information against us and hurt us, and she would also call CPS and the cops on us so that we would look bad in the divorce proceedings, so that my mom would lose custody of me and I’d have to live under my very abusive father, and to make us have a bad record

My creepy neighbour stands beside his vehicle every morning and watches me get into my vehicle to go to work. He then follows me to work, everyday.. Then he parks 1/4 of a block away and just stares at the windows of my work for an hour. then, at the end of the day, he follows me when I run errands. The cops won't do anything.
I’m assuming you are a woman; with God, a boyfriend/husband and guardian dog on your side best believe I bet that neighbor will stop harassing you. If you are a man please start a relationshipship with God , hitting the gym and get yourself a gun and a guardian dog.
Go to a supervisor and document all of this. You can even start doing video documentation videotaping him bring it to the police supervisor This is harassment. The police you're dealing with don't want to do anything but I bet they're supervisor will because he's in violating your rights

I had crazy neighbors like this. They blasted music all summer long even in the fall they were outside yelling and screaming. They had pot parties. They were through chicken bones in my yard, so that my dog would choke on them. They laughed when they heard my husband passed away, they were the most evil people on the planet they live at 11 Rockledge Dr., Shirley, NY 11967. If you live anywhere near this, please stay clear these people they are sociopaths.

When my husband and I were 1st married, we had a small 400sq ft apartment. I became pregnant, and it was a high risk, so I had to be on bed rest for 6 months while we were trying to look for a house. These new neighbors moved in upstairs. They had a dog and were loud all hours of the day and night. When I had the baby the dog would wake the baby up howling and barking all the time. One day, after walking to the store, I Left the stroller outside the front door and took the baby and my groceries in. When I came out to get the stroller, it was covered in dog pee! The neighbors tied the dog to the porch post instead of walking it and it peed, trickling down my door porch and stroller! Our complex also had a no-pet policy, and I turned them into management. Unfortunately, they did nothing about it. We moved out a month later.

The police can arrest this man at any apartment or hallway, game room, coffee room. Was he arrested the night he hit the person at the party? Doesn't sound like it. Something isn't right that he's still there after all of this and apparently the police have a warrant. All the people have to do is call the police when stalker is at the coffee station to get him arrested. Then if he would by chance get into anyone else's apartment the cops wouldn't need a different warrant for that apartment as they have eyes on him. Also the apartment complex can be used for not dealing with this issue immediately. What apartment complex is it?

Why would you call the police on everyone because a neighbor called on you? What if they ppl parking in front of their homes were defending you. They obviously do not think it is wrong to park your cars in front of your own properties. When I show my clients homes I make sure we stand outside for a WHILE before or after as we discuss things so that I can pick up on our surroundings. I look for neighbors outside, noise, any interaction with neighbors and make sure I have a few questions to ask neighbors in case anyone is outside so that I can see how they might react or get along with my clients because I have a good knack for getting people to open up to me and be comfortable immediately and feeling like we're long time friends. If they are standoffish, scowling, very short with us, or just not welcoming I point that out especially if they are close neighbors I take note of it all
These are prime examples of why I love living in the country. The only neighbors I have are a quarter of a mile away and they're only there on the weekends. I lived in an apartment for 3 years and it was nothing but drama. This video makes me appreciate my house so much more. It may not be fancy but at least it's peaceful. ❤

Never get close to neighbors. Especially in apartments lol I learned alone time ago. They will always be wanting something or show up whenever. I chit chat while I’m walking my dog sometimes with the neighbors if they are out with their dog and little stuff like that. I’m not inviting anyone to my home. It always ends up in drama even when it has nothing to do with you at all. Some people say I’m not nice because of this but I’m nice I’m just not letting people take advantage of me and I learned the hard way along time ago that neighbors and co workers are rarely turn into real friendships that are healthy.

My neighbor got in a fight with her husband and he pulled out a gun to scare her and she ran out, left her son inside, and called the cops. He took off and is on the run probably heading to Mexico and she’s now alone and scared he might come back and is possibly moving to another unit in the community complex and she asked to borrow my scissors, never got them back even tho I told her just place it next to the A/C over my fence or txt me I’ll get them and most recently she couldn’t figure out her tv issue so she asked if my husband can come over and fix it. Umm ma’am no you can’t borrow my husband, he doesn’t even talk to you like ever how awkward and he’s not tech savvy. He’s a hunting/nature/ plant guy, I’m more tech savvy. Just bcuz he’s tall and manly with a sweet beard doesn’t mean he knows everything and will just come on o Ed after a long ass day at work. You have a teenage son, you have google, TH-cam or idk call your cable company and have them look at it. I would do all of that first before asking someone’s husband, whom I never speak to at all, to come over and fix my stuff after he just gets off of work haha

I never understand people who park in other residents’s assigned parking spot. Then get angry when they get called out. People were notorious for doing that to me when the house that I lived in was first house on the street. I would get back from work and have to park on the street and not in my OWN driveway I paid mortgage on. I used to come out and knock on my neighbors door, or wait and asked the person not to do it. But they never listened.
One outrageous person parked in there once and got into a screaming match with me can you imagine? The next time it happened, I just called the towing company and just relaxed at home.
The person came to knock on my door, I yelled through the door that I would call the cops if they didn’t gtfo my property. The audacity of People. I’ve since moved to another home since I got married but still.

No, the dog shouldn’t be left there but I have outside dogs where the summer temps get to 100 plus regularly. Never have I seen a dog die where the air has movement.

I've had problem neighbors almost every place where I've lived. Dogs that shite in my yard; the neighbor swore it wasn't their dog and wouldn't pick it up. (We had no dog; neither did any of the other neighbors, and we would catch the dog doing its business right in front of us) Next: problem with kids. Now, I've raised 4 kids and I know kids will be kids. But we had kids trespassing in our yard, stomping in the flower beds, kicking balls into our house and car, etc. etc. Kids do stupid things because, well, they're kids! One kid dropped his trousers at me to 'moon' me, exposing himself. The kids egged our house because my husband shouted at them one time (he's so mild-mannered that he almost never raises his voice.) I should note that people's yards/gardens are small -- basically, postage-stamp sized. There's a park for kids to play at 25 yards away... So we talk to the parents and world war III starts. First, they deny that their kids are doing anything wrong. One neighbor, Conner, blasts his TV so loud that he can't hear his kids because he doesn't want to hear them. Never plays with them. Neither does his wife. They had a dog which stayed outside 24/7 that they completely ignored. Someone (not us) turned them in to the council or an animal rights org. I would hear the dog at night crying and whining because he was so arthritic that he was in pain constantly.It made me want to cry. It was a blessing when he eventually died and was put out of his misery. Now, it's uncomfortable to live here. I'm so sick of entitled people.

A lot of people sold their homes in the last few years and now my neighborhood has a few rental properties and they are all closer to my house lol one right beside. So far everyone that has lived in them has been good. I hope it stays that way. One even put flyers in our mailboxes letting us know about a party they were going to have and it may be a little noisy and all that. I thought that was very thoughtful and I enjoyed hearing the music as it was right next door and they were playing live reggae music. Got to hear a couple of my favorite songs lol it was quiet by 10. I would have loved hearing the music all night lol

Right and I don't know any neighborhood that doesn't let cars park in the road for certain hours during the day. Look up your city ordinances . Some areas even let you park over night, but tell you what side of the road for certain nights. It's not like the neighborhood was million dollar homes.
My neighbour was new to the block and tried to control the people who lived here. She tried it with me I put her in her place and I recently found out she's not been paying her rent since she moved here and owing the landlord thousand of pounds on rent. I stay far away from them and don't talk to them. People like that have things to hide. I mind my own business and my life is drama free and am happy meanwhile some people are miserable with their lives everyday.

Agreed. Just because the noise ordinance starts at 11 doesn't mean anything. He literally could've just apologized and said he would try to reduce the noise but it was a birthday party. I'd be upset too if I had small kids trying to sleep and my neighbors were being loud in the middle of the night and when I tried to be reasonable they were rude to me. I get it's not their problem and people with kids shouldn't make it everyone else's problem, but that doesn't mean he has to be a jerk about it.

I have had a couple of rude neighbours but I find it’s more to do with no spacial awareness or awareness in general. That in itself is annoying but trying to have a calm polite exchange about it, I found, it made things worse. 🙄

To the girl getting nails in your tires, you can set up your own cameras. I've lived in apartments and I've parked my cars where I can put a camera right on my vehicle. If its in your apartment no one can move it and the parking lot is everyones open space in the property. I call the office to make sure I can do this also. Expect people calling the cops on you for a few weeks when they notice you are recording the parking lot.

She has been living next to me for 3 years and this is the first time she had an event at her house. It was fine and not an issue. Thank goodness. I live with my mother in a twin house so there’s basically just a thin wall between us and our next door neighbor. She’s lived on the other side for most of my life. She has been awful. She snores so loudly you can hear her through the walls and it interrupts our sleep, she will often have people over and they’ll be up talking loudly at 3am, she hates my mom and her garden and has cut and destroyed some of my mom’s plants without permission, she worked for my father’s lawyer and got him that lawyer for my parents’ divorce and she would spy on my mother and I and tell my father and his lawyer in order to use information against us and hurt us, and she would also call CPS and the cops on us so that we would look bad in the divorce proceedings, so that my mom would lose custody of me and I’d have to live under my very abusive father, and to make us have a bad record
When I was a younger woman I kept my Halloween decorations up year-round collected more through every year my neighbors thought it was awesome

My creepy neighbour stands beside his vehicle every morning and watches me get into my vehicle to go to work. He then follows me to work, everyday.. Then he parks 1/4 of a block away and just stares at the windows of my work for an hour. then, at the end of the day, he follows me when I run errands. The cops won't do anything.
I’m assuming you are a woman; with God, a boyfriend/husband and guardian dog on your side best believe I bet that neighbor will stop harassing you.
If you are a man please start a relationshipship with God , hitting the gym and get yourself a gun and a guardian dog.
Go to a supervisor and document all of this. You can even start doing video documentation videotaping him bring it to the police supervisor This is harassment. The police you're dealing with don't want to do anything but I bet they're supervisor will because he's in violating your rights

I hope the second woman gets some cameras in her car. That’s something I’m looking at doing after this guy hit my car and no witnesses… my car is totaled, and it doesn’t need to be. I could have just had a camera and saved myself thousands of dollars of loss in 3 seconds.
I have some neighbors on this level. It’s very unnerving. I have cameras because they’re constantly harassing me or doing their greedy stuff. I cant even work in the yard, they walk by and take pics/video and snicker. For a long time their security cameras were pointed into my property (only). I have thusly decided i am going to share any and all shenanigans to the algorithm. There’s always drama over here, i guess it’s me… 🤷🏼

I had crazy neighbors like this. They blasted music all summer long even in the fall they were outside yelling and screaming. They had pot parties. They were through chicken bones in my yard, so that my dog would choke on them. They laughed when they heard my husband passed away, they were the most evil people on the planet they live at 11 Rockledge Dr., Shirley, NY 11967. If you live anywhere near this, please stay clear these people they are sociopaths.

When my husband and I were 1st married, we had a small 400sq ft apartment. I became pregnant, and it was a high risk, so I had to be on bed rest for 6 months while we were trying to look for a house. These new neighbors moved in upstairs. They had a dog and were loud all hours of the day and night. When I had the baby the dog would wake the baby up howling and barking all the time. One day, after walking to the store, I Left the stroller outside the front door and took the baby and my groceries in. When I came out to get the stroller, it was covered in dog pee! The neighbors tied the dog to the porch post instead of walking it and it peed, trickling down my door porch and stroller! Our complex also had a no-pet policy, and I turned them into management. Unfortunately, they did nothing about it. We moved out a month later.
But a coffee machine for your own apartment. Why would you keep using it? Some men may think if you keep coming around he's wearing you down. Lol

Right. Also she said stalker had assaulted some of the females. No one called the police? He would have gone to jail then. They could have them put a PPO on him. The police can arrest this man at any apartment or hallway, game room, coffee room. Was he arrested the night he hit the person at the party? Doesn't sound like it. Something isn't right that he's still there after all of this and apparently the police have a warrant. All the people have to do is call the police when stalker is at the coffee station to get him arrested. Then if he would by chance get into anyone else's apartment the cops wouldn't need a different warrant for that apartment as they have eyes on him. Also the apartment complex can be used for not dealing with this issue immediately. What apartment complex is it?
