@@sonicsaiyan07 according to her sprite gallery on the wiki(might be wrong though because it's a wiki, I'm not spending the next week binge playing dd and soj to determine accuracy) there's no model or data for Mr. Hat in Dual Destinies but there is in Spirit of Justice, so she doesn't use Mr. Hat in Dual Destinies, She does use it in Spirit of Justice, granted I don't have evidence of it actually being used, but why do all the modelling just to leave it on the cutting room floor

Long story short, Mr. Hat is not in DD, and in SoJ, he is only shown with Trucy in the credits but already deployed. My guess was to play it safe and clean by using the original Trucy and Mr. Hat because there are much fewer animations (mainly Trucy deploying Mr. Hat) in later games

Obviously that vase was key to the next trial which is a breaking and entering at wright and law co. Its gonna be shown that the theif was inside phoenix's building for three days because they mention an unbroken vase.

This was hilarious. I haven’t laughed this much with an ace attorney video in years. The fact that Mr. Hat can basically negate Apollo and Athena’s abilities is incredible as well as how seriously Athena was taking the pursuit of such a minor secret. Great video as usual.

and then edgeworth comes and now we play logic chess, and then kay comes with him and we investigate the "crime scene" and the we do a divination seance to check the vase' last memory before it was broken

Wouldn't work. The bracelet has to be sized for the wearer for them to feel it contract. Apollo's is too big for her.

"In-game, the bracelet is made of a special alloy that changes in size in response to body heat. This allows the bracelet to fit perfectly around the wearer's arm."
Therefore... _Miss Trucy Wright could absolutely wear the Bracelet herself to use!_
(Ok jokes aside this does come from the wiki page so DO take it with potential grain of salt, and I can't find the source statement.)

I just realised that the abilities are split into 2 there's the one where you need to analyse the person you are using it on, which is why apollo and athena have a weakness against things like Mr hat while phoinex and Edgeworth have to use their minds to find the truth making it longer but more easy to show then athena and apollo and would be effective against things like Mr hat because their mind is the weapon

Yeah, i feel like he could circunvent both athena and apollo at the end by saying "it's alright guys, I dont care about it (trucy's secret), leave it be" which is the truth so it wouldnt activate the lie detector humans and he truly doesnt care cus 5 psyche locks for a vase is not worth it.
And across town, Miles is doing it the old fashioned way with evidence and logic just to find out that Franziska tore her whip by getting it snagged on a coat hanger or something.
I love how Apollo and Athena's abilities are implied to be useless against Phoenix's Bluffs and Trucy's Mr. Hat. Are we SURE that she's adopted?

actually Would perception work on him? He Bluffs at a competitive level in cards and court and he Deals with lie detectors on the daily. Maybe perception would pass right by him
@@getthedunkon9347 Apollo's perception is not something simple, it's caused by his Gramarye genes and greatly enhanced by his mother's bracelet. Even Kristoph Gavin wasn't able to beat that perception. Hell, not even the infamous Phantom managed to hide from it.
Phoenix is amazing and a force to be reckoned with and all, but let's not over-overestimate him :p

You know the most terrifying thing about phoinex is that his got spirits watching everything especially Mia so if his ever back into a corner Mia and mabye other spirits would give him support and his magatama is an absolute lie dictator and him not allowing his secrets to be uncover is so like him if everything was uncover he would most likely collapses with all of his tramua, I mean he lost his badge, almost died, almost got killed, got framed, that hell of a trial with von karma, had to put his friends on the line, he keeping everything to himself and Edgeworth is a good call

Trucy's too good at lying to trigger Apollo's bracelet. Not once did his bracelet go off when Trucy lied. And she lied in every episode, straight from her very first appearance when giving Apollo the card

And in the middle of all this either Maya or Pearl come along and are just like: "Hey, where did the vase go that was on that table? It was a gift!"

i love how this also shows that all of the extra things they do on each trial is deliberate (the ending where athena literally says "that's your cue apollo")

This is why Phoenix' Magatama is the best, but is also harder to use. Phoenix as per his character brute forces his way to the truth and in his wake, uncoveres EVERYTHING about a case. This is no exception outside the court. He'll dig out everything but in a very simplistic "I'm right aren't I" style. It's why he needs physical evidence to expose those lies.
Now I'm just imagining how incredibly overpowered someone with the Magatama, Perceive, Mood Matrix, and Logic Chess would be...
...But I'm also just imagining the user being Edgeworth (because of his reaction to the "Psycholocks" in Bridge to the Turnabout and also because rule of funny) and he tries to use Logic Chess before freaking out from so many other powers triggering at once that he has to simultaneously juggle them all at once.
Someone wielding all truth hunting gimmicks simultaneously would be both unstoppable and in a constant state of confusion I imagine xD

They are seeing the final boss of Ace Attorney mechanics and feel... A bit out of their depth.

How did you do the whole perceive sequence in OL?
Animated them myself. Basically in both perceive scenes I cut zoomed frames from Trucy's sprites and animated them in Gimp

I'll have to be honest, I didn't forget it. I just had to use the mood matrix beep sounds as music in order to make them loop, and I was either the emotion beeps or the music. I'm afraid the theme got the short end :p
Just one question: why do you ALWAYS using now DS-textbox? It's isn't fit with 3D characters.
