You the GURU of Lumafusion. Not seen anyone as creative as you. Yes lots of videos showing basic and some advance stuff but not the creativity level like yours. You the BEST!
Thank you! Comments like yours really help, especially now, when the effort that I put in my tutorials is not translated to more views and subscribers.
@@ManantialVE i hear you. Im at the same boat as you my video is different but quite good compared to others and i dont get many views or sub or comment. It takes a lot of work to do one 15 mins upload, for me i spend week going places to shoot travel to different places, ppl should appreciate the effort we youtuber does for them to enjoy a simple like is good or simple comment good, great, will be appreciated.
It just occurred to me. There are many short videos that I create and end up not creating tutorials for them. I post those videos in my Instagram. In a sense, some of them are like little movies. Take a look: instagram.com/manantialve
Thank you for your comment! This is one of my favourite effects. Very useful for example for travel videos. BTW, stay tuned, new LumaFusion Tutorial coming out next week.
This is very slick effect. Thanks for sharing. I just got my iPad and this app. Mind is about to explode from all the ideas I'm getting. Maybe Lumafusion will add 3d text and objects in the future. Seems to be a work around for anything you want to do. I just wanted to add a drop shadow to my text which brought to your video. Lol. Still don't know how to add a drop shadow but this technique will surely impress.
Thank you for watching! You’ll have a lot of fun discovering what LumaFusion can do. As for drop shadows, the feature exist in LumaFusion. When you add a text or a shape to a title, keep scrolling down in the attributes you’ll find it (and let me know if you don’t). As for 3D text, it can also be done by combining an app called T-JAM with LumaFusion. Check this tutorial I made about it: th-cam.com/video/zJH5CmmCxHk/w-d-xo.html
Thank you very much for this great tutorial. I edit with LumaFusion and I am very grateful for your tutorial. Like nº9 👍🏼 my friend. Have a great weekend. Best regards 👋🏼🙋🏼♂️
Is there a way to create the look like you are flying through text on the screen? I've seen it done by using After Effects but curious if something like that could be done in Lumafusion somehow. If not, is there another app that can create that illusion other than of course After Effects LOL!
I realize now that it’s not shown in the video. Tap on the image, a menu will pop below it. There will be an arrow on the right side of that menu. When you press it, the menu will scroll showing you additional options, with the last one being Remove. Tap on Remove. Let me know if this helped. Thank you for watching!
I managed to reproduce what you are describing. The issue is with the first step, the project type that you selected, so you’ll have to start over. Open Phonto. Click on the camera and select Plain Images. There select a black template and change the image size to 16:9. Then on the top right corner tap on the icon that looks like a Share icon and select Use. Now tap on the hamburger menu (the 3 lines) and select Add Image. Now following the tutorial, resize the image to fill, and add and resize the 3D text. Now, when you tap on the image, the menu that appears will have the option to remove the image (you’ll need to click on the arrow on the side). Let me know if you still have troubles with this. I can create and share a short video with you.
Thank you for watching! To you question, no you can’t do it through LumaFusion . But if you are planning to upload your video to TH-cam, you can do it through TH-cam Studio with some limitations.
I'm thinking that since the subjects in the background is constantly moving , then it should be possible to create a clean plate of the ground, and subtract it from the video, and that way be able to isolate the shadows of the people moving, that way being able to use that information together with any objects that you place in the scene, not just white text. :) maybe it's just me trying to do the impossible, but it could be interesting to see what it could lead too, in new ideas and experiences.
Well, in a sense is similar to what it’s doing right now. The Luma Key mask in the third track isolates the shadows and projects them on top of the text in the second track.
@@ManantialVE does it also work for things in other colors, or have multiple colors? I have looked at a ton of red giant tutorials, and they can do a lot of spectacular stuff, I was wondering if someone of it could also be created in some way inside LumaFusion, I really wish LumaFusion had tracking, so things didn’t always have to be still shots every time we add an effect though. Ps. Great tutorial, it was short and very easy to understand. Thanks for all the great stuff that you make and share.

How does the light luma key add texture to the text?
It is purposely not keying the text perfectly. Those imperfections add the texture.

I used Luma Key to mask the shadows, so it masks by brightness, not by color like chroma key. See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luma_(video)
...and thank you for pointing me to Red Giant. I'm going to have some fun there!
Does Phonto charge you money every month for using the Tech Style Kit?
No. It’s a one time payment. No monthly subscription.
