I think one day lumafusion will become a priority editing software for every creator, just need more updates like merging layers like premiere pro (nest) , adjustment layers and audio synk option hope will get all this in lumafusion software happy to see this all updates love from India keep updating and make better option thank u. 🙂
I've always wanted to edit amateur videos on my phone. I bought the app a couple of months ago but never got round to learning it. Great video and very useful.
Thank you for visiting the channel. There are a LOT of tutorials to help you get started. If there's anything in particular you're looking for, let us know and we can point you to the video... or make a new one. Happy editing!
‘Exportless flattening” (nested comps) is my dream missing feature for LumaFusion, I thought you were building up to that with 3:23 and my heart skipped a bit 😂
@@LumaTouch Oh no, you’re doing great work! I know LumaFusion unblocked my video making, when Premiere was too slow for my old laptop, editing on the iPad was a breath of fresh air 😄 That said, I’m surprised if no one has suggested this feature! And excited to see if your lovely devs can crack it 🚀
Howdy there, sorry it took us a bit to get to this. The short answer is you can do this by creating shapes in a text layer (turning off the text part), to fit your window, and color these shapes a keyable color, then render that little composite, pull it back onto your Timeline over the top of the video you want to show through the window, key it out--Boom--same effect! If you send our Support team an email, someone can give you some more detailed guidance on this. lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email us' link). Thanks for watching and happy editing!
@@LumaTouch thanks for coming back to me I had come up with that idea myself and passed it to support after they replied it wasn’t possible to do no masking in current version. Love the software and what you guys do. 🇬🇧 regards Graham
Please send a customer request to support@luma-touch.com and let us know what sort of improvements you would like to see. We can add some notes to our wishlist.
I find this videos incredibly help. Thanks very much for making them. Have you made a video about the studio setup you are using to record the videos? Are you shooting straight to iPhone, and what set up are you using for sound capture?
thank you for the band-aide. How do you make a subscript y? There are other letters that are not available in unicode so cant use this method. Is there any solution on the horizon for sub and superscript text? Maybe a built in LaTex converter
I know this is an older video. I’m trying to export to “Rendered Movies” folder, but don’t see it as an option. Is this an add-on purchase or has something changed? Thanks for your great videos!
You'll find it behind the "Add/Edit Destinations" line--tap that, then drag Rendered Movies into the In-Use destinations. If you have any trouble, please get ahold of our Support team: lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support'). Happy editing!
So after I created a subtitles for a video, I decided that I need to change the font. Is there a way to change the font for all the subtitles I created in one go, or I have to manually do that for each subtitle one by one?
Hi there--thank you for watching. At present there is no way to change the font across multiple titles. The swiftest workflow would probably be to create a title preset on one clip, then apply that to each successive text clip in your timeline. Here's an article about that from our Reference Guide: lumatouch.clickhelp.co/articles/lumafusion-reference-guide-publication/style-and-title-presets Happy editing!
Is there a way to edit a zoom into the lettering video which fills the screen and makes the transition to the viewer seeing the video that was playing in the letters?
Hi there--neat idea, and if I understand your vision correctly, you should be able to accomplish it by keyframing a zoom-in on the layer with the letters, so that they grow so large that eventually a portion of one letter fills the screen. Keep the video behind the same size and I think that'll be the effect you're looking for. Here's a link to this happening in one our Reluctant Editor videos: th-cam.com/video/WSitR_4aFvw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jOWGVYY3P-3czMu8&t=416 If that's not the idea, please email our Support team so we can get you squared away: lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support' link).

No, 4.0 is well into the future. We have plenty of iterations before then and you'll see several improvements.
