When I purchased my house in GJ..... I went with a small house near Lincoln Park and paid a premium price. But its so nice to live City Center. Its such a game changer when you can walk, ride bikes, E-Scooter, or Uber etc to get to everything in just minutes. Buying a home in Grand Junction was the best move of my life....such a fun town to live in.
The gap in the riverfront trail between Las Colonias Park and 29 Road is scheduled for construction next year and talks have started between the county and residents of Palisade to figure out how to complete the connection out there. The riverfront trail really is a great amenity- I'm jealous of people who live directly next to it haha.
