Good job 👍. Very interesting creek bend. Looks pretty similar to a creek bend in Switzerland, where I found a lot of gold. I made a map of the bend and noted the panning test results. So I could see the pattern and found the best spots. Maybe this could work here too...
Thankyou! Yes it sounds like it would! Would be interesting to see and make one for myself for this river.. this corner has been a large deposit of magnetite/hematite, led and very fine gold (very hard to pan) it would help me to work where the chunky pieces are deposited 😉🏴⚒
@@scotlandstreasure2543 I often had the situation, that the gold became more chunky at the borders of a paystreak, were the water pressure begins to be higher during a flooding. Especially the top end of a paystreak. And interestingly, the biggest nuggets I found at spot, where there was not a lot of other gold. Sometimes a short distance upstream of the top end of a pay streak, the "streak" begins again for a small spot and there is ofter more chunky gold. Dave McCracken talks about the same in one of his videos. It's interesting, how this things are the same on the whole planet...
Yes definitely! Mother natures sluice box, I was always led to believe the nuggets will trap and not move, where as the fine gold will go from deposit to deposit. The bigger gold could be on the pay line cutting across these deposits or at the start or dropping out at the end. Just got to find that paystreak! more testing will soon tell

The bairn fair enjoyed himself 😁. My 2 have 0 interest in gold panning or even going for a walk (11 & 15 years old) braw wee result wi the gold.
