Man, I love this stage. The stage's appearance in the Weapons Master mode as Charon's Pass was great. I also loved it because it was my favorite character's stage, (Ivy. She had this stage, I believe.). Also fighting in it was so cool!
actually the entire thing is based on it. Chasing Death is basically Maze but most of the parts together and less emphasis on the egyptian instruments. parts 1-3 i know are in Chasing Death
Brice Carter Ikr my favorite tekken games was tekken 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 tag tournament games. My favorite ending was tekken 1 when kazuya was smiling at the camera breaking the fourth wall after he through hehachi off the cliff for revenge 😂😂😂🤣🤣
When I was younger, and I was working my way through the Weapon Master mode, I noticed that every enemy in Charon's Pass (Weapon Master mode's name for these stages) was one of the female characters, with Sophitia as the "final boss." Well as a result I made the headcanon of sorts that Charon's Pass was a testing ground for female warriors looking to prove their strength for their journey ahead, and Sophitia was a powerful warrior queen, who was the final challenge at the end of the trials of Charon's Pass.
@@Dee15gon The only fighter from Africa in general is Zasalamel. I don't know his story, and I don't think his place of origin is ever said, because he is a mysterious figure with bigger ties to the plot than it seems. I vaguely recall him having ancient egyptian themeing in some of his outfits, like sporting the eye of horus, but I could be wrong.
@@Dee15gon the only character I know that vaguely resembled that is Assassin. Not his armored outfit but the Turban one. I tried recreating him in VI. It’s too bad cuz the lack of adventure content like II and III is just sad to me.
Actually, when I was playing SCII back in 2003, I though that this track was awesome. The reason? It brought the oriental exoticism dressed in orchestral colours (probably digital samples from libraries). The inspiration for such music by the SCII composers team would be two amazing schools -> The one is the school if Russian/Soviet composers and the French school of composers. Check out names such as what kind of orchestral exoticism they have offered : Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Reinhold Gliere, Mikhail Ippolitov-Ivanov, Fikret Amirov, Aram Khachaturian, Grigor Yeghiazarian, Arno Babadjanian, Camille Saint-Saens, Alaxandre Luigini, Alexander Spendiarov, Alexander Borodin, Uzeyir Hajibeyov, Suleyman Aleskerov, etc....
Still wish these themes were separate in SC VI because by keeping them together you won’t hear the whole thing unless you do a best of 5. the track never reaches the point where it picks up with King’s Chamber, unless you wait 3 and a half minutes.
The best hope for that to happen (in Smash anyway), is if Namco is getting a guest character in there. Pokken may be co developed by Namco, but I don't see any Soul Calibur characters using pokemon XD

The Egyptian civilization existed long before your people took over. The last royal dynasty was in fact Greek/Macedonian in origin and reigned for 200 years.
One of the best egyptian-themed songs in any videogame ever
Stonezorz this isn't only égyptian...it's a mixture of egyptian arabian and andalucian and finaly persian music...enjoy
What the fuck are you smoking?
As Stonezorz said, it's Egyptian music, nothing else.
