I love how every track in this game feels like it's telling a story, and this one absolutely feels like two good friends sparring together. It starts out serious, quickly becomes playful (perhaps even flirty), and then very suddenly becomes competitive-like they were holding back and then started ramping up their intensity, and they can both handle it because they know each other so well. It's such a wonderful track that exemplifies how even fighting games with no campaign mode can tell stories.
this was always my favorite theme in soul calibur 2! I use to always play that stage just for the music! it always would get my hyper and moving around and jumping! man I miss being a 12 year old!
They really thought "Okay okay WHAT IF we can have the players chose to fight each other through teams composed of max eight fighters?!" because that's honestly what made this game stand out
