why write with music?

Why write with music? Should you? It depends! I'll be talking about the four different categories I listen to when writing and giving some recommendations.

This's great, thanks! Love the ambience joke lol. I personally often write to silence but write to music as well. I certainly don't read to music though, for me reading takes a continuous attention that makes the addition of music a no-go lol. With editing, it depends on the type of editing. But I do have a recommendation for you: video game music. There're so many great works from over the years coming from video games, and this genre is specifically designed to be heard in the background. My favourite composer by far is Nobuo Uematsu, he's written so much but he's famous for writing most of the pieces for the Final Fantasy series up to and including the tenth game. Recently they released what they call the Pixel Remasters of the first six games and in so doing they re-recorded all six soundtracks with full orchestra and all. These six suites are amazing! I recommend them so much lol! Anyway I could go on with many other soundtracks but I'll stop prattling heh, I've subscribed!
